Amazing they didn't pick one of the "Linux Certified" models like the LC2430. I would have figured a better standing for a company that specializes in Linux Laptops instead of just one that you can install Linux on.

This guy was modded as troll, but I have no idea why.. apart from his user name maybe.. but I can forgive that because his comment makes sense. listen, if you're going to call yourself "linux certified" then dammit your products had better work 100% as shipped! If I wanted a laptop that had buttons that didn't work with linux I'd keep my crappy hp pavillion laptop with all those keys that mean something to windows but to fedora (which it now runs) don't do anything. But no, I want a linux certified laptop that works. If there are buttons that are supposed to do something then I want them to work too, otherwise why have them there?

Hotmail, Yahoo, GMX.. they all *read* your email.. let me explain. All these services have "anti-spam" measures in place. They scan all your email for certain terms that would identify it as spam. Now, what is Google doing differently? They also scan your email, not only for spam words, but for ad keywords. I don't see the big problem here honestly. If you don't want your email scanned for spam terms or ad words, just use a real isp and run your own anti-spam software.

Traffic in Austin *does* suck. What Austin really needs is a good loop, like Dallas and San Antonio have. All the traffic in Austin stays there on I-35, no aleviation.
