    I did have to make some changes to raspbian's filesystems so that switching off TV didn't leave dirty bits on filesystems, but it was fun tinkering with it.

    While the USA uses "intelligence budget" some other nations may only use "intelligence" alone...

    This works exactly the same with cats. This happened to us one time and 4 out of 5 newborn kittens were killed by an adult male (we arrived before he could finish his job). Surely enough a few days later the female came to heat again and that bastard took his share of it...

    I haven't modified nor used it in years (I don't own a digital camera anymore...) so I ignore if it still works with up to date libraries, but its "--nodupes" option does what you want, and its numerous other command line options (http://www.librelogiciel.com/software/DigicaMerge/commandline) help you solve the main problems of managing directories full of pictures.

    It's Free Software, licensed under the GNU GPL of the Free Software Foundation.

    Not really.

    Police is usually mostly for urban areas, and Gendarmerie mostly found in the country side.

    Also Gendarmerie staff are military personnel, while Police are not.
