    A hiring manager for a Java position once asked me in the interview if I knew Smalltalk. I said no. He said "Good, if you did, then I wouldn't hire you." He said that Smalltalk requires a strange way of thinking that would make you a bad developer.

    And yet I've seen multiple people on here and other forums say that there's no need to buy a new computer nowadays since a 5 year old CPU can handle everything. Obviously not even a 1 year old CPU can handle modern web pages.

    Share price by itself doesn't mean anything. Google market cap: $540B Apple market cap: $580B MSFT market cap: $470B MSFT up 50% in the past year, catching up with Google and Apple, so Nadella sees no reason to change their path.

    Since when is Defender a superior product? Isn't it the basically the same as Security Essentials, which had initially gotten good reviews in its first few years, but subsequently rated the worst at detection among all the antivirus products?

    Such as "Dwyane" instead of "Dwayne", and "Antawn" instead of "Antoine". Strangely they aren't pronounced the way they are spelled. Maybe not so strange - probably indicates the literacy level of their parents.
