I could be said that, for instance. When testing new sports cars, you tend to test it on the same track as older cars. (In some cases cars from the early days of racing) To see preformance gain and general abilities. I think its important to know if new technology can preform to the same standards as old... and surpass it hopefully. Same is true for CPU bencmarking... new systems... but when you boil it down... same basic methods of "testing".
This incarnation of Star Trek has been... well.. not very good. Look at the length of the other Star Trek series. DS9, TNG, even Voyager. Not to foget about the original series, but lets use the most recent ones as an example.
They must have been something right, the most I have heard people talk about Enterprise if pretty much about how much of a "family show" it is. No offense to any who like Star Trek Enterprise but since when was Star Trek really a show the whole family watched? Its all about raw Nerd passion for SciFi. I'm sorry even with the setting, Enterprise is to cheesy. It all but brings shame upon the name Enterprise
"...The vehicle was designed to travel about 600 meters in three months, a little more than one-third of the mile...."
Atleast that is what is says
here about the rovers expected lifespan. They think it could go much further than that... still $400million... 600meters... ouch.
I believe this to be true in MMORPGs. People seem to be more social, granted you have to sift through the... "1 4M L33T H4X0rZ!!!!! STFU n00b!!!!" types. If we could just to away with those people the internet would be a much better place.
For when you are put into the Vortex you are given just one momentary glimpse of the entire unimaginable infinity of creation, and somewhere in it a tiny little marker, a microscopic dot on a microscopic dot, which says ''You are here.''
The leak was made more worrisome because the main oxygen generator, which has been working only sporadically, failed again last week. Russian flight managers are designing a way to fix it this week with spare parts already on the station.
So whats next are they going to start busting into homes like a S.W.A.T. team? Maybe they can higher the A-Team to do their dirty work for them, eh?
Or maybe Lars can lead them into battle singing Unforgiven.... lol
Now one would think that with all the trouble they seem to be having they would just move back to paper ballot. It would save alot of grief, then again it is Florida.
"The top model builders from each city will be invited to Legoland California in Carlsbad for a chance to become the eighth Lego master model builder and build and maintain the huge Lego sculptures in the park. The winner will be paid $13 to $15 an hour."
Thats pretty good pay for doing something you were do at the age of 5, or for some of us still doing today.
Doe this sound about right?? I was running Internet Explorer on my machine and I thought "Hey I think I will see if any Windows98 updates ar on... so I went to Microsofts website and what happned... IE Crashes... Always nice... >8)

...It better roll one way or another.
Now I see what I have to do to take over the world...
Simply interacting with a person over the net would be being more social, would it not? More so that watching TV in any case.

If only they would leave well enough alone, they try so hard to protect the music it costs them more money than the people who copy music.
I can just see someone winning a lawsuit over this product... or atleast trying to. hah

The unfortunate thing about this is the price... prolly somewhere around $16,000-$20,000?
heh
