I opened and edited a access 2000 database in both office XP and 2003 and it still works in 2000 (says "access 2000 format" in either XP/2003 when opened)
In fact access is the only office componant I have installed, other that that I use open office. Where is my dag nam access replacement. Yes I know the options, I want an all in one solution liek access, not something with a back end database, something with a single file I can easily backup etc. Bah, back to access then.

Broadcast can be much better than dvd, try looking at a good analogue signal or a decent digital one.
Unfortunatly the tv companies have decided that 95% of people are too thick to notice a crap picture and this the bandwisth on ditial goes down and down. I fully expect them to start putting the sinal through an ascii converter sometime soon and broadcast that to scrape space for a few more channels of crap.

Not really it looks more like the free = we don't make money of it argument. ie They've got bored of it and don't see how to make money off of it and no longer need it as a promotional tool so are abandoning it, they do this a lot of times.
