    I know none of this stuff in either in Ruby or Python. Just doing a quick google search it seems the Ruby equivalent to Scrapy is Nokogiri. Anyone aware of the trials and tribulations Nokogiri users had with Ruby versions as compared to Python users and their Scrapy?

    Isn't cooking your own meals from ingredients for yourself or others cheaper than buying prepared meals? It would be useful to teach kids a life skill they can use to save money. Not everything has to be career orientated.

    Gift giving. When giving gifts for birthdays, holidays, whatever, tangible things seem right.

    Status/virtue signaling. I think people like to flash the book cover of whatever they are reading to everyone around them.

    I have a Nexus 7 2012. It's only good as an ereader right now. Even the Kindle app struggles. I did some window shopping at Best Buy recently and the Amazon Kindle HD tablets looked very nice. Good looking screen, supposedly it will work well with the Kindle app and Prime video. Does anyone know if Google apps like Youtube are able to be installed on them? If it can't do basic Google apps then the purchase is a non-starter.

    I'd be inclined to see whether his various business ventures have exhibited this sort of hiring policy; or whether he's a "Buy American!" sort of guy when looking for votes; and a buy Mexican sort of guy when looking for labor...

    Why does it matter? Don't hate the player, hate the game. It doesn't bother me if Trump as a businessman engaged in standard business practices. He's now saying the game sucks and needs to be changed. Good for him. Booo to people who think supposed hypocrisy is the greatest sin imaginable and should prevent us from fixing errors.

    Why is Amazon Prime Video so incredibly bad? Searching is awful. The watch list is awful and unorganized. Is no one speaking up at meetings?

    The company may have been founded in a garage, but it didn't stay there. What was HP like when it got out of garage? Did HP really have a reputation for people dressing like slobs? I'd suspect that people generally dressed ok and didn't need to be told how to dress for work.

    And Google Groups... so Usenet archives are pretty much gone now? It's a shame that such a large archive of historical data on a wide variety of subjects appears to be just plain gone.
