    we should mod you and the parent down for 'redundant'. What the parent post described is exactly what everone else has been describing with Linux. Of course, you can do the same with Windows, except, it takes 3 billion clicks to get it done. On linux, it takes 3 commands.

    When the masses watch the trailer, it generates interest in the movie. This generates $$'s for the company making the film.

    In light of those who have heard of the movie, they will see the plot, and expect it while watching the movie, --subconsciously.

    imho i've tried a fps with a gamepad/joystick, and found it very hard to navigate. Mouse/keyboard gives you umpteen keys and combos for movement, attacks, defense, strafe, use keys, weapon keys, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

    change fps to any other game, except for driving games....and you get the same story.

    And why wouldn't I want to see more of the actually screen (previous posts)? It would be pathetic for me to say that I don't want it. Damn I PREFER 320x280!!!!! IT ROCKS. I DONT WANNA SEE ANYTHING!

    Oh well. i guess the console people are having a complex. (read: size of genitalia)

    If Intel was fully into the compiler business, would they still not want others to have optimized compilers for their chips?
    Is it not the chips they are first and foremost trying to sell?

    The idea of having an original compiler is to verify that the chip you made functions correctly. THen you pass on the info to compiler people, and get back to business: making chips.
