With all the resume tips being posted, heres another.

Keep it under 4 pages. I dont care if you have 25 years of experience, keep it 3 or fewer pages. I personally watched my manager THROW AWAY a bunch of 5-6 page resumes he had. Too much information. No one cares what you did in 1983.

I quit participating, after in early 1999 they took their stats offline and it took them well over 2 months to get it back online, depriving me of seeing how well I did each day compared to the rest of my team. I had 160 sun workstations cranking out keys nightly from 0000-0600 but there was no more excitement for me anymore without the stats.

SETI is a waste of cycles, and dnet isnt getting my cycles anymore. Is anything else available for linux? It seems a lot of those clients for cancer, genome, etc are windows/mac-only.

IIRC, those links to the right are paid ads, so if someone searches for "scientology", its quite appropriate they show up, so I'm not sure where "spamming" comes in.

Now, if pro-scientology links were always listed first in the results section of any scientology-related google search. then you can claim shenanigans. :)

We have MusicChoice, and while they do play some of the stuff found on microwave rotation on the radio stations, they do play a lot of smaller/more obscure artists in the mix as well.

For example, I listen to the Alternative Rock channel most of the time, and while they will play endlessly-played bands like Linkin Park, Staind, and Nickelback, they will play stuff I'll never hear on the radio (at least here) like The Incredible Moses Leroy, Farrah, Luce, and Dub Pistols.

The digital music channels are the *ONLY* and I do mean *ONLY* thing I use my cable TV for. So its worth it for me to get quality music choices and not have to listen to the shit on the radio.

I also believe part of the reason that people arent springing the extra bucks on high speed access is the economy. 2nd place would be the fact that most of them havent experienced it first-hand to see really how bad modem dial-up is. Sure, many people might have fast web access in the office, but not everyone does.

This is not "insightful", its "wrong".

As other people have pointed out, its not censorship, primarily because its not the government banning the films, but someone buying the film, editing out the parts they find objectionable and then passing it on to others.

You can still go to your local blockbuster/hollywood video/neighborhood video place and buy all the sex-and-violence-filled movies you want. :)

I wish I could meta-mod whoever called his post "insightful" though. Maybe ill just mark him as a foe instead.

And finally, "Funny" should not give you a +1 bonus. We all appreciate humor, but come on, moderation as it exists currently should be to promote intelligent posts, and demote random crap goatse posts.
