that damned "Do Not Call List" as it prevents business from making legitimate calls to complete strangers during meal times. Also, the government should stay completely out of regulating mass e-mailing (called 'SPAM' by people who don't appreciate the tremendous b*u*s*i*n_e_s_s_ opp*ort*unities in that field). Damn Feds restricting our rights.

We absolutely have to keep the FCC from interfering with legitimate mass marketing business on our VoIP phones!

respect the rights guaranteed under our justice system. Which are only guaranteed in the United States. The US Constitution doesn't have any legal authority in Europe. That's where treaties come into play. Which is what was done here. Switzerland and Italy (apparently) asked the FBI for help getting the data, the FBI determined the data was in the UK, and passed that on to British authorities.

The British authorities gave Indymedia all the rights it is guaranteed under the British Constitution. Which, as I'm sure aware, doesn't exist. Brits get only the rights that Her Majesty's Government give to them.

Sure, you have to be a heavy drinker for a while to get addicted to alcohol, but it can be done. Just ask around at any AA meeting.

The receiver (I have a 20 year old Radio Shack one that still works) has few moving parts. Probably only the volume knob and the buttons. The CD changer has lots of moving parts. Small ones that move at high speed. 5-6 years is pretty good, considering that you probably didn't do any maintenance (greasing gears (not that you can, but in theory), blowing dust off of it, etc.) on it.
