to have a physically function person with no memory. They'd get up in the middle of the night to cook, forget that the stove is on, call 911 because they're confused, take the car for a drive and get lost. It's Hellish ( mother in law has dementia).
I just fixed a leaking tub on our washing machine with some JB Weld. Earlier this year I patched a hole in my motorcycle crankcase with JB Weld. It's better than duct tape!
and freezing rain. I know this because the last time I dropped my Kz400, there was snow on the ground. If you add a third wheel to your cabin cycle, you get a Reliant Robin, which was so successful they closed down years ago.
at least last summer it didn't, the beaches were free. Wildwood does have a reputation as a vulgar blue collar sort of place, which only adds to the charm for me.
you must have great insurance, I had to shave myself, with the urologist finishing the job (because the directions weren't clear). We did have a nice talk about Palm VII wireless as he was slicing and burning me.
K-129 was sunk because someone (rogue KGB elements?) tried to launch an ICBM at Honolulu, and the internal safeguards they couldn't bypass detonated the conventional explosives used to trigger the nuclear reaction.
If KGB agents with a fair amount of insider knowledge of a Russian warhead couldn't trigger an explosion, why would a missile falling to the ocean floor detonate?
But, it probably didn't happen, the CIA probably recovered everything from the sub they wanted to. Check out Red Rogue if you want to learn more.
who added PAL (Permissive Action Link) to nuclear warheads, so if an unauthorized person tried to use one, they would fizzle and explode the non-nuclear components. That probably saved us from WWIII in the case of K-129.
Outside of some used for testing and research purposes, I can think of no use for them today. Turbofans and turbojets and turboprops account for 99.9999999% of the jets you see today.
especially since we don't compete with them in the inkjet market. I bought a BJ4000 years ago because it was listed as Linux compatible ( it was), nowadays, I buy the 2000's for $3.99 at Goodwill and Salvation Army stores, the cartidges are still compatible, and reasonably priced.
and the quality off cable is not great, even digital cable ( I hate having them have to reset the cable box to get the digital cables). It will take a lot for me to stay on cable when I can save a bit by switching.
A shame cable's fixed costs are so much higher than sucking a signal down from the sky, I don't see how they'll compete on price.
I can play this with my daughters (10 and 5), and the ten year old wins about one third of the time, without me holding back too much. It's a wonderful family game, for people ages 5 and up.
up Greenland, and then down Labrador, at least that's what Jared Diamond in Collapse indicates, based on archeological evidence.
Had they sailed straight across to Newfoundland, logistics would have been much easier, and their North American colony might have survived. We'd all be speaking a Scandinavian language, and having lots of sex with blonde haired blue eyed women.
The more charter schools that get chartered and succeed, the less power the Teacher's Union have. It's sick, the Teacher's Union in Buffalo pulled out all the stops to prevent Buffalo charter schools from succeeding. That tells you their concern is less for the kids than their power.
Disclaimer: My daughter attends a very highly regarded charter school at the Rochester Science Museum ( is that cool or what, school is right next door to the Science Museum).
The Great Lakes have been infiltrated with Zebra mussels. They clog water intake pipes, and eat so much microscopic food that native fish populations are suffering.

to move on from SL/COI. I do like ATS though, it's a bit easier than SL.
Do you ever head over to consimworld?

Danica McKellar has her own math theorem, and a book.
things with swastika's on them are illegal.
A Fall of Moondust was where the tourist ship that sailed on the sea of lunar dust had an accident and got buried 15 meters under.
where men were moved from a crippled spaceship to a functional one, without vac suits. This has a link to a 1931 story about surviving vacuum.

It's a mohole for terraforming!
with a BS in Aersp was pretty disappointing. At least I could put my computer skills to use.
I even have it (albeit marked up from my youth), I just need time, and people nearby. I never had a chance to play it against anyone.
Maybe I'm spoiled living in a rustbelt city, but that kind of stuff wouldn't fly around here. I don't know if I could buy in such a restrictive place.
She knows her way around Solaris and UNIX.

by chance?
if it even happened.

And yes, I do have a degree in aerospace.
