    No games require the latest cards, and few even have options to take advantage of it.

    You can buy the previous gen of cards for cheap, and play all the latest games well, and get a new card every year or two, and save a ton of cash.

    In any case, the right to speak anonymously is part of free speech, and is like the right to vote anonymously, and for much the same reason.

    How is this any different from Russia or China or North Korea again? In both cases, if there is a discrepancy between what the government doesn't want you to say and what you want to say, the government wins.

    Don't worry, though. Europe won't misuse the power to censor to help those in power maintain power, even though human history is crammed with examples and escaping from that is nearly impossible.

    I have a new doctor on a new plan and my healthcare costs went up... You decide what to call him.

    The law didn't prevent you from keeping the plan you already had.

    This is a lie. My Blue Cross gold standard plan got canceled and I was offered a much more costly plan. The reason? Some nitpick detail that my plan didn't cover some little thing some beancounter wanted, thus it was not Obamacare-eligible.

    Again, this was a Blue Cross mainline plan, not some rinkidink company.

    So stop lying. Stop it.

    The right to be forgotten does not surpass the right of free speech. Tens of millions died in Europe in living memory at the hands of regimes that relied heavily on censorhip. Well over a hundred million live under a dictator who censors and kills journalists. It is to be denied government at all costs.

    The value of it, whatever it is, is secondary to mass death and loss of freedom.

    Don't want to imagine, anymore, a boot stamping on a human face, forever? You have no assurance from history you have licked this problem once and for all, such that you can toy with it under democracy.

  21. The need for renewable is a separate issue from the need for green energy.

    The former is about the running out of fossil fuels, and the latter, pollution, and, specifically, greenhouse gases.

    The latter has value, but the former not so much anymore as Julian Simon's undefeated predictive capability has shown a relatively free economic society can adapt to shortage stressors faster then they become the prognosticated problem, and prices continue to drop.

    This is counter-intuitive, but makes successful predictions again and again and again since the shortage scares of the 1970s. Peak Oil, a reskin of such fears, predictably fell.
