    Umm...There are City Jails, and County Jails. There are State Prisons and Federal Prisons. If you get arrested for DUI you go to City Jail...you aren't in Prison. If you get arrested for murder...you still go to jail. When you are sentenced you go to Prison. They are totally different.

    Prison is where you go for periods generally over a year, after you have been sentenced. Jail is where you go when you are awaiting trial, or for minor offences, usually under a year.

    A lot of vendors, I'm not sure of the one they are using, but Cisco, and a few other major players have guaranteed their draft equipment will work with the standardized 802.11n.

    Weird, most of the things you named are the reason I, and most people prefer linux. Compiling is what makes the system run so smooth. The command line gives you a lot of control, and it far more simple than trying to find your way through counter-intuitive Windows GUI's. The MAN pages are not the best source of information...an advanced user should know that.

    Even if they could prove you went to torrentspy...theres nothing they can do......even if they proved you downloaded a torrent...there is nothing they can do, as torrents have no copyrighted data.....tey would have to prove you downloaded the content the torrent pointed to, which at that point is out of the torrent spy loop...but who know what they'll try to say

    Exactly, I've always just made up my results as if I was on a windows machine, or run the UNIX equivilent to whatever they are having me do. If you just say "I use Solaris", You may think they are thinking "Well this guy obviously knows what he is doing", Usually it's the exact opposite. As stupid as that sounds.

    No, he probably didn't want to include WINE because it will make Ubuntu bad because WINE is too hard for most novice users or a beginner to get working properly...if you make promises that it can run windows software to people, then you have to be able to be able to deliver on that.

    That's not what I meant by what I said at all. I agree with you about what soldiers have to go through. I wasn't refering to killing the enemy, I was refering to civilians wrongly killed. Although you didn't, and even if you did I wouldn't blame you because of the cirumstances of combat. I blame the polititians for having soldiers there in the first place.
