I had to try it, it reminds me of Doom for Sys Admins...
I manage a B2B site and the one thing the marketing people want is the ability to track our customers. This app does that and more, it's really interesting to see how people navigate our site before they decide to buy something. Maybe I'll add features to the pages that get visited the most or improve the pages that are used least often. It's really slick and it's really easy to setup too.
Why does everything have to involve flashing lights?
I was at Universal Studios last weekend and I couldn't ride any of the rides because they all had a warning about "Side effects may induce seizures for certain people".
I am supposed to walk around with my eyes closed now so I don't look at one of these stupid phones?
The function foo() will cause FireFox to only write "Bling" instead of "Bling Bling". The function also causes the page to 'hang'. This script will work in IE. Let's not give people an excuse to stick with IE because websites X,Y and Z do not work with FireFox.
Your right it does a great job but beware. I ran it on a users PC and it found the Netsky virus in an email and decided to delete her entire inbox. The virus should have never made it through, we use Postini for email filtering. Damn laptop users, oh well that's a different story....
I walked into this titty bar and saw one of the strippers sitting at the bar crying. I asked the bartender why she was crying, he said that the owner makes all the strippers pay $20 to come and work. I was like,"Yeah, well why is she crying?". The bartender leans over and says "She's only made $21 tonight".
Ouch. Isn't the lap dance better when the stripper is crying?
I don't see how drinking coffee helps your bloodsugar. It should actually make you feel worse. Caffeine stimulates the production of adrenaline which will cause your symptoms of hypoglycemia to increase (which sucks ass). Unless you are putting a lot of sugar in your coffee, it won't help you raise your bloodsugar. Coffee has 0 carbs.
I created a buggy POS Java app last year named JavaSwitch. I tried to compile it with the latest version of Java the other day and it crapped out because there is now a built-in class called JavaSwitch. I'm going to sue Sun, McBride-style. =) Good times.
My company's site runs LAMP with DB2 Connect. It works out really well because everything my company does uses an AS400. DB2 Connect was a little expensive though. But if you consider how much we make off of our website, DB2 Connect has paid for itself.
Moving isn't hard (at least it wasn't in Windows 2k), copy the "Mail" folder in your users folder --> C:\Documents and Settings\me\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\default\0qql5ql7.slt\Mail
Start Thunderbird and setup your account.
Go to -->C:\Documents and Settings\me\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\default\0qql5ql7.slt\Mai l
and paste the mail folder there.
As far as recreating your filters goes, it shouldn't take you to long to recreate them. They are very simple to create.
I hope this makes sense, I'm just coming off a sugar low =(

What a stupid idea.
I had some idiot at an AITP conference tell me that a nibble was a 'half of a bit'.
Is this...
script language="JavaScript"
function foo(){
bar();
shizzle();
}
function bar(){
document.write("Bling\n");
}
function shizzle(){
document.write("Bling\n");
}

Do you work at USI?

BTW, Postini kicks ass.
Anyone tried running Thunderbird on Citrix? We are moving away from Netscape and not going anywhere near Outlook. =)
The next big MMORPG.....

Your missing my point...
Dean Edwards has taken it upon himself to make Internet Explorer W3C compliant
IE should already be W3C compliant, why does it become our problem when a browser doesn't follow standards?
how would you propose the web developers get all their users to switch to another browser before visiting their websites?
How's this? =D
function getFireFox(){
if(navigator.appName == "Microsoft Internet Explorer"){
location = "http://mozilla.org/products/firefox/";
}
}
body onLoad="getFireFox();"
this hack really does show the power of IE that you can deploy a script fix to browser problems.
Maybe 'the powerful IE developers' should fix this problem themselves.

Is it me or is this whole SCO thing looking like the presidential race? Or vice versa.

int i = 1;
while(total_domination > i){

winner = MS;
}
if(Linux)
i--;
if(SCO){
i = i + 2;
winner = MS;
}
if(i == 0){
total_domination = 100;
winner = Linux;
}
return winner;

After 'bigblueball.com' gets /.'ed I think their 75% claim will change a little.

That's just what the IT industry needs, a bunch of teenage paper certs...
Now that we have polluted the air lets get to work on polluting the water!
