    You haven't been paying attention. Between the signing statements, warrant-less wiretapping, war against a nation without a declaration of war and thus the express permission of Congress and the American people (such as the war powers dictate), I'd say Bush has exploited more power than any one person in the history of this country.

    Let's not forget the Patriot Act, the Dept. of Homeland Security, or appointing a crony as AG who turns around and purges the Dept. of Justice of lawyers and replaces them with Bush-loyalists, either.

    How about a more recent event, in which both offices of the executive branch are failing to comply with their own executive order regarding the handling of secret information?

    Need more? The list is long with this guy.

    Well then, who not repeal ALL sales taxes...and watch the county and local governments collapse?. Who needs schools, road repair and bridges?

    I live in San Diego, where I pay 8.25% sales tax and a huge income tax. They still don't fund the schools or repair roads or bridges (unless you live in Del Mar).

    I suspect this article is less about 128k vs. 256k and more about advertisement. The results were not impressive -- and that person was trying to notice -- but anyway you just gotta have these expensive ear buds.

    Students have to study and learn and to show respect for their teachers.

    Teachers must earn the respect of students. It is not (and never will be) automatic.

    Any disrespectful behavior should be punished

    Why, so the punished have even more motivation to mock you while your back is turned?

    A 40-day suspension however, is way to harsh.

    You're god damned right we should. If drug companies make a drug that hurts someone, they should suffer the full consequences, even if it puts them right out of business. One person's health is more important than any amount of profit. Don't believe me? Imagine that one person was you.

    Then you can have as many new vaccines as you're getting new antibiotics.

    Who needs new antibiotics? We get enough of those in our food supply.
