...a damn cell phone and not some do-all do-hickey. My Cell phones (Work and personal) are the most basic models you can get, aside from the work phone also including the 'cell modem' option.
Cell phones are there to make calls, not to be a camera, a computer, a PDA or any other kind of device.
The more complex these things become the more issues like this will crop up and cause problems.
Perhaps something similar to this could be done with a digital camera, but we would still be talking about an overly large camera in order to house a very large CCD or other capturing element/surface in order to obtain similar resolution.
My First PC was a Windows Based PC because of the games that were available on that platform. I was hooked on the PC as a gaming platform ever since I was exposed to the original Wing Commander. From that day forward the games console I had simply didn't have the same shine to me anymore.
I needed a PC, I craved a PC... One day, I got my PC... (Years and years later unfortunately...)
Because of that PC, I ended up learning the MS way of networking back with Win95OSR2. In time, I learned enough to build and run a small Peer-2-peer network in a very small office with 5 computers. (Again, all the MS Way.)
Without games on the PC, I honestly would never have gotten sucked into learning much about PCs. Without games on the PCs I wouldn't have had a rather lucky chain of jobs change events that lead me to where I am today. That is running a 20 PC and four server network for a sheetmetal prototype facility. Two servers run Linux, the other two are print server boxes.
Actually, I can say that "The Mullets" is infinitely more entertaining then the sickening rash of do nothing, provide nothing garbage that is "Reality" Television, minus the actually decent ones like "Trading Spaces". (The shows you can actually learn a thing or two from...)
The rest, like "American Idol" and its ilk can be wrapped up in 100 year old newspapers, doused with as many flammable liquids as exist and then have a liberal application of flaming napalm applied to them...
I evangelize OSS software here and have attempted to push OpenOffice.org and other various applications across the network of computers.
Unfortunately most users are running MS Office and as good as OpenOffice.org is a number of our often used job tracking documents are in Excel format. No matter what we do, when those documents are opened up in OpenOffice.org time has to be spent adjusting the document to print properly.
I would love to have two versions of the documents in question, but the end-users simply wouldn't be able to deal with that... Then there is the issue of duplicating those forms electronically, it just isn't economically feasible to enter all the data into 'identical' electronic forms just to be able to open them up in whichever spreadsheet application you happen to be sitting in front of.
Leaving that CD around won't convince anybody to go to OpenSource software. I don't have the time to look at some CD that was left around by someone attempting to tempt me to 'go over' to their side.
As the Purchasing Agent and the entire IT Staff I get all sorts of DemoCD Crap sent to me all the time. All sorts of "Look at how awesome our crap is!", "Try it once and wonder how you ever did without it!"
Most of it is all the same, they come from silly 'Microsoft Partners' all selling the same thing... Some kind of 'Revolutionary Business Management Software' that we would have to build our business around to get anything out of it. The rest of it is a mess of various CAD/CAM systems, most of which are the worst crap you ever did see...
Do you know what I do with it all? I dump it into the trash first thing. I don't read the marketing hype, I don't waste a moment attempting to load something that then demands I 'Register' the Demo to get a Demo unlock code that does nothing but mark me as a 'target' to their sales drones...
If we need software, my job is to head out and find it. I look at OSS first, because most of the little side software packages we need won't require massive retraining, like zip software or other utilities like that...
So, would a CD Found laying around our office end up in any PC? Heck no, especially if it is unmarked... There could be all sorts of nasties on it we don't want/need on our network...
Keep your CD to yourself unless someone mentions looking for a mess of free software, then give them the CD.

...the system works with the 'woofer' producing the single note within a sealed container. From what I heard on NPR, the sound is no more loud then walking into a large server room and hearing the fans run. It's just a bit deeper of a sound.
Inside the canister there's 198 Decibels going on... That would shatter your ear drums and make your eyes bleed (possibly) pretty quick I understand...
Outside the container all your hear is a regular humming noise at one frequency...

Nobody here needs to put up a single US Supreme Court decision. That is covered by the State Law and there is no single Lawyer that I am aware of that would ever claim and attempt to take to the Supreme Court your 'Fundamental Right' to drive if you have a Suspended License or revoked Operator's Permit.
You want proof? Walk, bike or drive yourself down to your local circuit court and look at the day's docket. You will see more then a few people with reckless driving cases up before the court.
