It's actually pretty easy to switch back to QWERTY. I only use a Dvorak keyboard at home, but I don't have that much trouble using a QWERTY. I'll have to look at it for a little while, but I adjust to it quickly.
Well, I don't think there's any reason why people can't simply get used to having the buttons on the other side. Guitars are normally set up to have all of the (rather complex) fretting done by the left hand, and just having the right hand strum/pick.
..and we'll make a bunch of rings that flush sideways, make friends with some freaky people with stuff in their hair, and be able to survive freezing for 3 million years inside a block of ice.
Agreed about the Kensington mice. I'm not left-handed, but I've trained myself to mouse lefty. the Kensington's symmetrical, so, unlike all sorts of other trackballs, it works great for this. In addition, the keyboard is now balanced, with the keypad and mouse being on opposite sides.
I never got the extra buttons to work properly though, and the wheel is a little touchy.
I know I've seen at least one game which had the circle button be select and the x button be escape by default...

The nice thing about that is that it's just about the only way to get an internal 3-button mouse into an Apple Powerbook.

seems to be a pretty comprehensive description.
the 89 may not have one, but the 92/92+/voyage 200 models all have plain, QWERTY keyboards.

I'm positive that HFS is read-write supported by linux, however I believe that HFS+ support is still experimental.
