Ummm, no. I work for a large Nordic mobile carrier and the delusion that you need to "certify" a device before allowing it onto a mobile network is a US-only thing. We don't do that and neither does any other mobile carrier in my country.
Do they seriously expect me to constantly disturb everyone around me by playing video with sound on my smartphone? In a world where people have less and less available time, they expect me to sit through 10-20 minute videos instead of reading through the same content in a couple of minutes? Yeah, not gonna happen.
"In order to be on the Play Store, social networking apps need to demonstrate a sufficient level of moderation, including for content that encourages violence and advocates hate against groups of people"
Considering that Whatsapp and Telegram are both on the Play Store, who is lying, Whatapp/Telegram developers or Google?
Is the amount of people who seem to think they have a RIGHT to access media content they want, in a way they want and feel justified taking it for free if their conditions are not met. Nobody owes you anything. You are free to vote with your wallet, but not to vote by committing copyright infrigement.
Except the linked Microsoft Developer's blog says they aren't and the team writing the code is a likely to know a bit more about it than Necky McNeckbeard.
I find it somewhat unlikely that Microsoft's developers are incapable of browsing to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\lxss with Windows Explorer.
Indeed. If I want notifications and whatthefucknot, I can install the app. If I am browsing your service in web browser, just take the fucking hint already.
They didn't, but you have to admit, with the iPhone they really did Lead The Way
Except for the part where Apple offers software updates to their phones for far longer than any other major manufacturer. Good luck finding another major vendor that supports their smartphones for 4 years.
It doesn't. A battery required for even a small house costs more than $3000, so you are either full of shit or read your books off paper in candlelight.
Even before this, they have basically killed Messenger for me. I can no longer find an option to archive a conversation on the mobile app and it's filled with useless shit that automatically reappears some time after you close it. Apparently there is an official "Messenger Lite", but thats only officially available to budget Android users, not flagship Android or iOS. It's reached the point where I've basically given up on Messenger because it's just frustrating. Hope they won't "improve" Whatsapp in a similar fashion, or I would expect the amount of people in my circle that use Telegram and Signal to suddenly spike.
In many countries, parents spying on their underage children, their communications and their location at any time is not only fully legal, it is expected of the parents.
Umm, yes? When you have a monopoly position, different rules apply.

Congratulation on belonging to less than 0.1% of Internet users. That will help you so much with bot ddos attacks.

He made Sundar Pichai cancel his family vacation. Having the CEO cancel a vacation does tend to lead to firings.
If you attach an external lens to it or get one of very few models that have it yeah. Why, are iPhones claiming to have that too now?
Yes, they do. Specifically, the 7 Plus model.
You are aware of optical zoom in smartphones, right?
One of the (many) things I am loving about my Beats X is my iPhone telling me the exact battery percentage on both.

"Linux files are not currently accessible from Windows"
Except they are.
Regarding #2: I am pretty sure FreeBSD is much better off without users that could be driven off by something like that.
Indeed. If I want notifications and whatthefucknot, I can install the app. If I am browsing your service in web browser, just take the fucking hint already.
No, we have become a common sense population if/when we do.
You are basically saying only rich people should be starting a business. How about you fuck off?
Important thing to note is that these guys weren't caught because of some TOR weakness, but because of essentially non-existent opsec.

so when will they go after the apple store being it only works on the iphone and apple products???
When Apple gets to 90% of the smartphone market.
Why would that be a joke? We live in an age where AI software is coding AI software. Why would a less-automated system be outlandish?
Except if your country is big enough to, you know, actually matter.
Why do you have to lie so much? Both are leftists. You have to take quite a lot of drugs to imagine Le Pen as right, let alone far-right.
