How can you waste time on punctuation? Just put the punctuation in there while you type. It's not that hard pressing the shift key in the start of sentences and pressing the period key in the end.
How about Battlefield: Enemy Territory. Take the good from Wolfenstein:ET and the good from BF. Joint Operations looked promising as well, but my machine doesn't have the horsepower for it.
Hell, I'll do it myself. It's going to be "like BF1942, Wolf:ET, Joint Ops and Counter Strike, only better"
Could someone make me some weapon models and crappy concept drawings that I could put on a web page?
I don't know what's their definition of adequate, but HL2 plays just fine on my machine at 800*600. I have an Athlon XP 2000+, Geforce 4 Ti4200 and 1GB of memory.
Something similar happened to me. I put a Coke bottle in the freezer, and when I tried to drink from the bottle, the moment it hit my lips, it started to freeze.Except it didn't freeze solid, it became sort of slush.
Are you sure? Because you sound pretty sarcastic to me...

What are you talking about?!? Everyone knows more megapixels means better camera. My 2 megapixel camera is better than current camera phones, but the 7 megapixel camera phone is 3,5 times better than my phone.
I think he meant that he made all the buttons digital. All the buttons on the PS2 controller, except start and select, are analog. I didn't read the article, I just looked at the pretty pictures, so I don't know.
Bills do take a lot of punishment before they become useless, but eventually they would become useless unless they are exhanged.
I agree though, that that doesn't mean building a nation-wide replacement networ for batteries is nearly the same.
I see that you were probaly trying to counter the argument that bills somehow become gradually more and more useless with time. That's not true (unless you consider less and less picky wending machines starting to reject the bill), but at some point the bill would be in such a terrible condition that nobody would accept it.
But that doesn't make bills and batteries interchangeable...
That harly is a matter of seconds. And besides, Ebay tells you how many minutes/seconds there are left on the auction, you can use a stopwatch for the final minutes, if you must.
They could release a patch or an installer that takes out the Stream activation in the future.
If they don't, so what? You obviously know that there is a possibility that the game won't work in the future. If that is important to you, vote with your wallet. Don't buy the game.

And why shouldn't they be, they are perfectly safe inside their car.
I block only annoying ads. Don't have a huge flashing/looping animated ad embedded in the middle of the story and I won't block it.
Actually it really makes no difference, since I won't click on the non-annoying ads either.
On thing I noticed: Ability to search and view photos without having to register. This is a big plus for me.

It's a moot point, since you won't have a chance against my submission.

Hey, even 15 fps is playable, it the framerate is constant.
Plus this could have the added benefit of "Every place is sold out, it must be really good, I must have one, BYEOMG^_^BBQAFKSTFUBBQOMGPLZSTFU!"
Slashdot has "editors", not editors.

I do believe the Gamecube raped the PS2 in Japan as far as units sold.
You are wrong.
Actually, the mirror of Slashdot would be "Nothing for you to see here, move along."

Well, if bills would not be exchanged, eventually every bill would break and become worthless.

large amounts of error
When talking about consumer-grade, that means several minutes per day. How accurate does a wall clock/wrist watch have to be anyway?
