    The US government is Constitutionally prohibited from sanctioning any state religion. In recent decades that has been bastardized into not recognizing any religion.

    But factually the president of the USA and his administration use the word god in nearly every speech they make. Even dollar bills have "In god we trust".

    So whatever your constitution says on not sanctionning religion, it does not apply to your government IN FACTS, because the things I describe are part of the state.

    Yes and as a matter of fact, the tower is already used as a tv and radio antenna. One friend who's house is close to the Eiffel tower doesn't need his own antenna to receive a tv signal. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they also used it for Wi-Fi.

    And yet the press got hold of Clinton as soon as they knew he was getting his willy sucked. But Bush may lie without impeachment. Get your priorities straight. The point is, it hasn't been since Maccarthy that the US press has been (willingly in most cases) mislead.

    What involvement would that be? Just to remind you, there was an embargo on Iraq and the contracts passed were just that, contracts. Until the sanctions were lifted, and then what? Nothing done was illegal.

    Many countries use a proxy to block access to some websites, but when I lived in Singapore, you could just use a public proxy instead of the government-ISP appointed one and could then visit every web site.

    Playing on a P3 450Mhz with 512Meg ram I found the scrolling under win2000 unbearingly slow. It does go much faster under winMe, but I hope they will put out a patch which makes the scrolling smoother. Anyone else found the scrolling real slow under win2000?

    For me, the main reason for using ximian gnome is that they make it really simple to install gnome with an automated installer, and they include an updater, red-carpet, which makes updating the desktop easier.

    A) like the british we have very good light infantry, but I wouldn't be surprised if america sent tanks in those mountains.

    B) If we didn't care about the WTC why is the french president in New York right now (the first to have gone there)? That's not counting all the commemorative ceremonies that took place in France for the victims of the attack.
