I thought something very similar when I read this, but I was thinking Lexmark was going to sue the scientists for using modified cartridges in the printers.
That reminds me of when Disney adapted Winnie the Pooh, and they were having some trouble with Pooh being stuck in Rabbit's hole (it's a door, you perves). They invented the Mole character who pops up and says "I'm not in the book, but here's my card."
Of course I don't get this at home where I can control my browser, but at work using IE that site loads tons of ads. The most interesting one though just pops up; filling a LARGE part of the screen. It's semi-transparent and looks as if it's loading a commercial. Although it looks interesting, I know I have no interest in buying anything so I click the convenient "close" button in the corner. That's an ad that's both obtrusive and yet strangely fascinating. I do like that it is polite enough to give you the option to shut it down before it fully loads.
But I think the best reason to love Pine has to be... PICO!
If you like Pico, AND like the GNU and GPL stuff, I'd suggest trying out Nano. Now I admit I'm no Pico master, so if there's stuff missing I don't know because for what I use Pico for, Nano emulates perfectly.
Sometimes, I think it must be me that's mad. My personal favorite was the never mentioned Peter Davison. I also like the first doctor, whose name escapes me. You know, the quaker oats lookin' guy.
Maybe it's that they have straight hair without looking like Moe from the three stooges.
Make a room in ep.3 that looks like a big wood box all painted white with brass accents. He'd have about 4000 New England Congregational churches suing him.
Uh, Houston? We have a problem. Nudge rocket 6 fired 8 seconds too long igniting the giant solarsail driven inflated baloon thing we were going to push this rock with once we painted half of it black. I think it's time to evacuate Houston. No I wasn't addressing you, It's TIME to Evacuate Houston!!!!!
huh? last time i checked most Americans were Christians, and last time i checked America is giving billions of dollars to Israeli's each year.
Yeah, but, these are of the same Christians that were slaughtered by the European crusaders, partly because the silly Europeans didn't realize that Christians in other parts of the world might look different than Europeans. Doubly ironic when about the turn of the 1st to 2nd millenium there were more Christians in China than people in Europe.
Mind you since those crusades, the general Christian populace has seemed less intent on reclaiming that part of the world and has settled on making holy sites out of Rome and England (Thank you William Blake).
Actually if you throw in a "make install" near the end, I think it tried to make bzImage again (which goes by fast if you've just done it) and then it puts the files in teh proper place AND updates lilo and/or grub for you. I maybe wrong on one or two fine details, but the make install updates the grub.conf file for you.
The Vogon captain should definately be played by none other than JarJar Binks. I mean he's pretty much unemployed now, and face it, wouldn't listening to JarJar recite poetry make you want to die?
Far MORE people have died on airliners (even ordinary ones), does that mean air travel isn't for "ordinary" people. Guess what, even more people have died in automobiles. Are ordinary people to be banned from the roads? Space will only become safe and practical when ordinaly civilians CAN claim it and make it a part of their "ordinary" existence.
The casting was mostly remarkable, except for Dumbledore. The guy playing him isn't going to live to the third movie!
I take serious exception to this statement. "The Guy" who portrays Dumbledore is none other that Richard Harris. A notable and fine Irish actor. Perhaps the "biggest" star of the lot.
I remember seeing him live on stage portray King Arthur in Camelot, a role he's portrayed many, many, times on stage and screen. Here's a little more info on whom you speak:
Richard Harris
actor
Born: 10/1/1933
Birthplace: Limerick, Ireland
Though born in Ireland, he has played the part of English kings, Arthur in the film version of Lerner and Loewe's Camelot (1967) and Richard I in Robin and Marian (1976), and French king George II in King of the Wind (1989). Throughout his prolific career, Harris has been part of classic films, including The Guns of Navarone (1961), Mutiny on the Bounty (1962), Hawaii (1966), and Unforgiven (1992). He received Best Actor Oscar nominations for The Field (1990) and This Sporting Life (1963), and won a Golden Globe for Camelot (1967). More recently, Harris has appeared in Gladiator (2000), and as Headmaster Albus Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone(2001).
What about a plot with alien characters who truly are alien such that you walk away from the TV or movie theater wondering what actually happened, purely because you couldn't be sure you properly interpreted alien actions.
This is all too often the reaction that Americans give Monty Python.
Pictures from the childhood of Davros.
"Father" of the Daleks.

Yes. When refering to this we'll have to say "CongressBytes."

Well it can't be helped if it takes us a long time to come out on one side of one of your European wars.

Just a little joke.

I think "PC Bang" might be a registered trademark of the Pr0n industry.

I've heard THAT one before, yeah a weather balloon. *wink wink*
Well I've got some Linux powered swamp gas over here.
What are you REALLY hiding!?!?

The USA is now the ultimate power in the universe. . .I suggest we use it.
The more you tighten your grip, the more pieces of space junk, specks of paint, and bolts will slip through your fingers.
Lordy, back to work.
