The last car I owned (I'm car free now) was a Camaro with On-Star. I didn't have a subscription after the free one ran out, and I learned how to disable the module by disconnecting the antenna once I found out that they were tracking equipped cars that weren't subscribing.
I'm not paranoid about home assistants, but I'll be damned if I was going to let someone override my control of my car.
All this crowing about how the ignored and disregarded people in the rural states electing the idiot in the oval office in retaliation is only going to make the pendulum swing harder the other way. Now they'll be ignored and disregarded HARDER after the cities get the vote out. Does he represent you? You MUST be ignorant.
"you're arrogant and too full of yourself"
Yea we also don't live in the fucking middle of nowhere, where there's nothing interesting to do. Church, hoe-downs, and methamphetamine do not for a fun weekend make. Crackerbarrel doesn't quite measure up.
Jailing the heads is the only way to FORCE change. Real consequences for these largely useless rich fucks at the top won't damage the actual industry nearly as much as they want you to think.
If one manufacturer's product works for a given enthusiast's application without issue, and the other does not, that points to the manufacturer, NOT the "idiot complaining."
ATI^K^K^KAMD's problem has been drivers and continued support. They have improved, but I still haven't forgiven them for abandoning a brand new ( and very expensive at the time) card I had just bought when WIndows... 98, was it? moved to the WDM model, and they refused to support it. I wasn't going to stay on the previous version of windows.
I have not bought a single product of theirs since.
If it's reputed not to work with a game I want to play, I'm not going to bitch at the game's developers, I'm going to by the product that just fucking works.
I don't give a shit about defending AMD's honor. They're a publically traded company and therefore just as evil as Nvidia.
Other than my signature, I have never used cursive to write a check. I haven't used cursive for anything at all since I got out of public school and was no longer required to use it.
I hand write so seldom that it's a miracle my hand printed writing is the slightest bit legible. My signature at best is consistent and unique, I would not call it legible.
Federal Regulations come about when corporations prove themselves unable to be trusted.
I would prefer the States handle this but the telcoms have already made a lot of noise about suing in Federal court to prevent regulation by the states.
They cannot be trusted to regulate themselves. As long as Trump/Verizon's Toadie is in charge of the FCC, they're useless. Legislative capture. The fox in charge of the henhouse. Should be a treasonable act to set things up so.
Nobody is going to come to my blog to announce local events. Many local orgs don't even have web pages anymore. They announce events from their FB accounts.
As to newspapers, you're kidding, right? I haven't picked one up since Dec 31, 1999. And events, where I live, can change, based on weather, etc. Online you'll find out about it. With the newspaper, you MIGHT find out about it the next day.
I might only LIVE another 15-30 years. I wouldn't own property in this state, eventually, it'll be underwater in SoFL. I had a house. I bought at the wrong time, and I had to walk away from it or be stuck in a podunk center of unemployment.
I'd rather be free to go elsewhere when the mood strikes me. At this point I'll never have a family, so why not enjoy what I do have?
You can't get the same performance in a console. Ever. Pull the other one. Certainly not the same performance of a 1080 or 1080ti.
Not even the same neighborhood.
That's fine. Compared to my Nvidia 1080 they're useless for gaming, so I wouldn't consider a Vega.
Thanks for the clarification, Comcast Guy.

What butt-hurt post.

Then those industries need disruption.

You mean the home automation devices? It means creating an action or set of actions that a user might want to create.
Did he ask for a parrot?

Knew. Most of them are either too old or have left that hellhole. And they don't know how to make a car like the Tesla.
And no the sort of cars Tesla makes.
Good luck luring significant numbers of intelligent tech workers to live in/near Detroit. There's fuck all to make that an attractive city for them.
He successfully insulted you. You came back with an incensed and wholly unnecessary response.
No one is impressed.
But this one goes to 11
Tell that to the French.
In my experience in South Florida, it's pretty much Basic White Bitches, and Karen "let me talk to the manager" type mothers that enjoy this song.

Yea that turned out really well in the early 1940s.
But in this case, the horses have already left the barn. Closing the door now will do nothing to help the middle class.
I would hardly refer to some pundit on youtube who talks about "fake news" as a purveyor of "actual facts". "Alternative facts" (lies) perhaps.
It was A reason. It wasn't nearly half. He won West Virginia. Big fucking deal.
Once the coal miners look around and realize nothing has really changed for the better for them, they might think twice.
Username checks out.
I won't tolerate evangelists IMPOSING their beliefs on me, so I chose not to live among them.
They're perfectly welcome to do as they please, as long as they leave me out of it. I'm not moving there and expecting them to tolerate my atheism.
That's my choice, ace. And I like where I am a hell of a lot more than I would like being there.
Hold on. You think you or I would get to profit from a setup like this?
Hahahahaha
