Sounds like we need more government involvement in capitalism. The government just isn't doing it's job when it involves protecting Americas interests. More taxes for more regulation for more oversight for more support for a stronger secure America.
Meaningful progress on climate change = more tax payers dollars going to coal and oil production
Fix the economy = print more money and re-inflate the housing bubble.
Gun control votes = stimulate the gun market
Don't question the king = Executive action for everything that might not get votes
Why shouldn't the developers and users get to decide what they want to use? Why does Apple feel they need to make everyone's decisions for them? If people want to stop using Flash let them decide.
You would be suprised. At my work some of the users have Gator and that EAcceleration crap installed. Its funny when I goto cleanup their system and all the passwords Gator has saved for everything vanishes. They have to call back and get a bunch of passwords reset for applications Gator helped them with months ago.
Ever seen Gator, EAcceleration, and Bonzi Buddy load onto the desktop of a Pentium 200Mhz with 64MB of RAM? Its not a pretty picture.
"The RIAA, in the past, has successfully reached settlements in the past with individuals in violation of copyrights. Settlements, paid by those accused, can range from $1,000 to $17,000. They focused on college campuses, which tend to be the bedrock for online file-swapping."
its the imcompetent coworkers who have to be constantly "retrained" how to do simple things such as imaging machines, troubleshooting laptops, and installing software.
I wonder what would happen if someone counterattacked saying the RIAA is inappropriately using copyright law as a business model instead of using current the current available technology to attempt to make a profit?
Do you think MTV is really there to help the youth of America?
No, its all about the ratings, thats their #1 bottom line priority.
Do you think people make games to entertain the youth of America?
No its about the sales, making the quarterly earnings is their #1 bottom line priority.
The entertainment industy isnt going to be looking out for everyones best interest. Everyone(with main emphasis on the parents) needs to pay attention to whats going on and being shown around us. Exposing yourself or your children adds to their lifetime experiences and is a small part in what molds their/your persona. Plopping an 8 year old in front of the TV and leaving the PS2 to interact with them 90% of the time is not going to help them interact with real people in the real world.
A parents job is a 24 hour, 7 day a week, 365 day a year full-time responsibility. If you cannot accept this then do not have children until you are ready to be involved. Its common sense.
The media and entertainment industy are there as a part-time outlet for fun. They are not there to raise our children.
This game is one of a rare series of SaGa games that came out earlier this year. Although it received alot of bad reviews once you start playing and learn the mechanics of the game its actually quite rewarding.
Unlike the other Final Fantasy games this one doesnt have 30 minute pauses in gameplay after every boss to watch a movie. You actually play the game about 98% of the time.
Leveling is not like other Final Fantasys either, you have a grid panel one which you place panels after you finish missions. The panels are random so you might get Lockpicking, Kicking, Punching, and Artiste one time and another time you might get all weapon panels. Characters gain hitpoints by how much damage they take during a mission. If you hardly use a character throughout a few missions they wont gain that much.
The game has 7 different characters that have stories that intersect in a universe telling a different account of what happened through their point of view.
Each character takes from 13-40 hours depending on how much you want to build your characters.
I have vague memories of this but didnt a GM in Ultima Online sell a few thousand dollars worth of stuff before he finally got caught? Anyone have any info on this??
How about put parents in jail if their offspring commits crimes under the age of 18?
