Split across the continents though and you start needing context in order to understand the translations. Though it is funny to see Chinese restaurants called "Frank food. Come eat do!"
Funny, but an accurate description of some of the "frank food".
I had a yahoo account around the turn of the century. Haven't used it since before you were born. Unless it got deleted, it was surely included in this breach (and probably in a lot of prior breaches).
That's one of my peeves. How could anyone consider the SSN as secret? The damn thing was on my drivers license for years! I don't put my password on my drivers license.
I use Alexa as an alarm clock, but something funny happened this morning. When it went off, I mumbled "Alexa, snooze". She must have thought I said "news", because she gave me a Flash Briefing.
Yup! My GF and I used to drive to Southern Missouri to visit her relatives. We stopped in Rich Hill for a break and the first time we did, she told me to try the water. Ugh, I never did THAT again!
Driving for 15-30 minutes and grabbing what I'm looking for is certainly faster than ordering from Amazon. The problem is, I'm likely to drive 15-30 minutes, look in the store for another 30, since they've reorganized their stuff 3 times since I was there last week, and either I can't find it or they're sold out, or they stopped carrying it. Then I go back home and order the damn stuff from Amazon. Eventually I just skip the frustrating part.
I watch older shows on Netflix, but for current stuff, Hulu's pretty good. They usually have the shows the next day, and on the one I have, most (all the ones I've seen) are ad-free.
"evacuate themselves" - Fun trivia note, when a person evacuates themselves, it means they soiled themselves, not that they transported to a different location. I am pretty sure all of these people had the ability to evacuate themselves, but they probably didn't have the ability to travel.
I'm pretty sure some of the people who didn't evacuate themselves to another location ended up evacuating themselves your way.
I have a full-time job. I do plop in my chair after work, but that's a max of 3 or 4 hours, and I usually divide that between TV, internet, and futzing around the house. I might finish off 2 one-hour shows, and it's not unusual for me to not finish 1 one-hour show.
Weekends are variable. I might have more time, but I also have plenty to do, especially during good weather. There will probably be crap days this winter when there's nothing better to do than veg out watching the tube, but usually my TV time is limited.

Same here! I don't feel right until I eat something (might be a quick bite of cheese or bread) and some juice (usually orange).
Well, my gut complains vigorously if I skip breakfast.

There's a 35 MPH sign in my area with graffiti that makes it look like 85! On a city street! Yikes!!
The problem is, SSN is an ID. It's not a fricking password! If they use the hypothetical replacement as a password, it will have the same problem.
I have no problem with my ID getting leaked onto the internet. I have a big problem with my damn password getting leaked onto the internet!

Don't say that! You'll upset her.
Hillary's #s?
You choose to ignore that the Ds nominated the worst candidate for president in recent history. Why did they do that?
Because it was her turn?
Was that in force during TOS? Because Kirk & Spock nearly always went on the same mission.
If people start doing this, that will increase the soft targets for burglars, and reduce the odds of them trying harder targets like my house.

If, for example, you live in Flint MI, it might be worthwhile to buy their water. Unless they used Flint water.

My work machine with Win95 did have a single key reboot. It was called the "any" key, and whenever pressed, it did cause a reboot.

Yeah, they fell on their faces with that one.
The iPhone 9 will only be available for sale in the Apple Store on a designated cruise ship as it sails within the Bermuda Triangle.
It will be rare! Truly a classic!
There was no Windows 9 either. Apple "just did what Microsoft was doing."
I know I'm old, but in my day, Microsoft copied Apple.
We do now.

Worse than that, it's also used as a secret password.

But, if you knew SuSe like I know SuSe.
