    One time I flew with a Geiger counter and noticed that radiation level was (somewhat) correlated with what my gps said the altitude was, probably more practical than using a clock ;-)

    Yes, but it must be locally calibrated. I was talking to a guy that used to work at WWV, he said that moving an older clock up one story would make a very noticeable change in it's tick time - this one might be sensitive to inches.

    Maybe it started with hair length requirements? A young lady I know, business manager at a tattoo parlor chain, had to get a visible tattoo; a low BMI to stay in USA military. This has been going on a while, getting warm froggy?

    If they then make methane out of the carbon, which is burned...
    CO2 capture is taking carbon permanently out of the air - unburning the carbon that was burned in the first place. This scheme should be called RECYCLING carbon - which isn't nearly as bad as digging up coal, but it isn't "cleaning" the air if it is sold as methane. It should be buried as rock or coal to be environmentally friendly instead of environmentally neutral.

    'Cmon when I was a teen (1965) I built an ecg and it didn't even take that many transistors. Had to borrow an oscilloscope to see the waveform but I first tested it with a VOM. At what point is it illegal? Sale, Manufacture, or Use? Why not sell it "as is" and "not medically calibrated"?

    Epi Pen is a (tm) so how you can have a Generic Trademark is puzzling.
    About the only non puzzling thing about pharmaceuticals is the chemistry.

    With my battery driven sw I could at least know the time, important? Importand during that kind of crisis?
    I remember a time when wwv had a strong signal, world wide - is it just me or have they really reduced powered? Last I checked while in Costa Rica 2.5 wasn't there 5 was weak 10 was weak and 15 didn't exist.

    Many years ago a friend told me to watch nutritionist's position on coffee. It seems to switch from good to bad to good again at least one cycle per year. Do I want non trans fat coffee whitener, or the other spread?
