Interesting... are you being serious that it stops you? Using Safari on OSX 10.4 I don't get bugged and am able to download without the 'genuine' program...
I'm more concerned about spam... once the spammers hit it there will be a huge uproar as people try to block off chinese names...
English servers may not support blocking of chinese characters in domain names, we're going to see a flurry of software updates and spammers battling against each other for a while.

You're not alone... I'd imagine many other companies who send out hundreds of similarly formatted e-mails (not spam, not mailing list, from individuals) have been blocked. Took us longer then a week to get off the list however, and were put back on by an automated process a few months later.
They're in Quebec... it always gets exceptions and it's own rules... if we threaten to smack it when it's being bad it threatens to leave home (seperate)
Quebec is like Canada very spoiled child.

No, I'd much prefer to die if my child is the only one around.
Our company made a DNS change for a download server accessed by customers, over a month passed and multiple tickets opened with several large ISPS (Road Runner being the biggest) with no action taken. We finally had to setup a new server name for customers to be able to access the download server...
In all there were 3 large US isps that were major offenders...
They intended to not comply, and were dismissed from the admin team or the responsibility of running the BBS by the school, not the government from my understanding.
The school stepping in and dismissing them, not giving them a chance to stand up may have saved them from jail.

Are you sure? Have you requested the code after purchasing the product?
They don't have to make it available as a download on the web and they may even charge you a fee for shipping/media costs/etc although not for the code itself. Under the GPL this is acceptable.
Does this Knoppix CD include a ghost image of your hard disc? While I'm sure it can be done using a USB hard disk in such a small form factor is still kinda cool.
He has already announced they he is remaking them in 3D...

I was referring to the province as a whole or specifically the gov't.... not the people which have mostly been cool.

That would work in some situations, not ours.
We were using Akamai for content distribution, one single server wouldn't have been able to handle the load of all customers.

windowsxp.pro is still available...
So I'm not the only one with a big white block where the WH should be?
>> Ain't they? Word 2003 requires XP afaik.
You can run Office 2K3 on Win2K as well...
In this instance IIRC they accessed the Apple Developer Connection website with the same IP address that they served via bittorrent.
What is interesting, Rogers (I've had a cable modem for about 9 years now) has just implemented a 60GB cap before they launch their own VOIP service.
Using anyone other then Rogers for VOIP counts against your bandwidth.

It does, and sure beats the names I proposed to replace DVD-R and DVD+R. I was going to go with DVD*R and DVD/R.
Sure, but first please let me confirm your slashdot login.. please reply with your username and password.

RecordNow is a great but SIMPLE app for the masses. It passes the mom test... but for a geek why are you buying a Dell anyway?

Or Geek my Pimp. Imagine Xzibit with a pocket protector and glasses.

Damn, there goes my comment about the french legal system surrendering.
