    Yes, but then we don't have crap tv.. so it kinda pays off. you pay for cable/sat/digital? its the same principle, except they managed to get in early. Even with paying for cable and such, you guys still get adverts every five minutes. Even commercial (sic) channels over here only have them every 10-15, and none of those stupid info-mercials (again, spelling?) saying "praise the lord, and give him $50, because the lord is almighty.. but he needs $50 dollers (we take all major credit cards except discover)"

    There are so many other things that you pay for with out realising, where the fuck do you think your taxes go? (oh yeah, i forgot, they go into bush's pocket lol)

    What is the point? What is the point of spending money on a system that is so useless? i bet it could even be fooled by a zip-compressed attachment or the rot-13 feature on most email clients. Is it multi-lingual? i think not, oh well there goes messages in over 200 different languages. can it tell that bo.mb or b-o-m-b = bomb? i have a feeling it can't, oh look someone rendered their text and diagrams to a bit-map, can it do ocr? hmmm, in realtime with multi-gigabytes of data per second? um.. no. These are just simple ways around the system without even using compression. why would politicians put themselves in a position like this when the system they are proposing has no use what-so-ever.

    no no, its best to piss them off. They are on the phone to _you_ and its costing them money. If they get comission, even better - the longer you keep them on the phone the less money they will make..

    "hmmm, so tell me more about this double glazing? yes, yes, yes, hmmm, i see, and can i get double glazing but with just one sheet of glass? no, i see, right, hmmm... [20 mins later] ok, hold on a sec while i get a pen... yes, actually, on second thoughts, i just realised we don't have any windows... o well bye.."

    Think of it as helping the community by keeping a telemarketer off the phone for a few hours.

    Email spam can be reduced by filling in all forms with you email address as support, or webmaster @ the name of the company, or the name of another company. That way they get their own, or eachothers spam and then sell their own email address...

    crack him in the jaw? in his own shop? where he has the right to do what he likes?.. ummm ok.

    they keep sending spam because the pepper monkey tells them to do it. and if no-one buys anything they must send out more spam until someone does.

    basically, if you send out enough spam, statistically, atleast one person will buy something from you. if the profit from that one sale is more than the totall cost of the spaming of everyone else, then the spam campagne has worked. Sending out 1000's of emails cost next to nothing.

    Universal Plans to degrade the quality of all CDs using that crappy system that degrades the sound quality of CDs but which many 'experts' claim is un detectable to the human ear (except as maybe a kind of 'lossy quality' feel. This will also have the side effect of rendering them unplayable on Macs, DVD Players, PS2s, and some CD Players (and all *nix's, BeOS's and infact every other oparating system/computer apart from MS Windows.). And it will encourage people to rip more MP3s I bet.

    I can see usefulness for this in war too, seeing as the American B-52's can't aim to save their lives why not put "Bomb here" signs at various locations.

    I've tried Lindows and its amazing!!! Seriously - even the setup program looks _exactly_ like the real windows setup program. Every part of the system looks the same as the Micro$oft version, it even crashes in the same places!! infact, if you covered up the 'Lindows' logo on the CD case and gave it to an expert, they wouldn't be able to tell the difference!! - you see, as a joke, the creators used the title 'windows' instead of 'lindows' on every part of he os - the start-up the EULA, even the help files, these guys managed to recreate the look and feel of the entire oparating system, they are gods! infact its almost like they just copied windows bit-for-bit - amazing!

The leather jacket must also go, and instead Barney the Dinosaur. To complement this, the entire city must be changed to barney land with barney mobiles and annoying children from acting school.

    I think 24.. uh... 23.. no uh.. 22, is pretty good karma considering. It was 25 on sep-11 and then went down to about 15 (wonder why). Its taken me this long to get it back in the 20's. I do post things other than bitching about the US, but most of it is, or atleast contains some bitching about said country. I'm not threatening, i'm simply joking - the fact that i've been practicing for the last couple of months and have lernt half the systems on a modern airliner is besides the point, i wouldn't actually be stupid enough to do it (unless ofcourse some pilot left the door open and know-one was looking). I'm still waiting for the bulk of the bitch-slap - so far people keep agreeing with what i say about the US (bloody 'i agree' people).

    Actually he was arrested for speaking about something that violated the DMCA. This is no big deal, seeing as everyone (everyone in the rest of the world) knows that america has no freedoms or human rights, and that the american government is run by money from the big corporations. If you think the Dimitry case was bad - now you've got the anti-terrorism laws so they can soon arrest you for _not_ speaking rofl :)

    Well lets see.. Both cases were almost entirely the American governments fault: wrongful arrest on an unconstitutional law for skylarov and, for the wtc:

    Pissing the world off, polluting the earth, installing military bases everywhere doing various other things. then there was the fact that they stacked tall buildings full of people to make as much money as possible, and doing the same for planes. They left the door open (ie the cockpit door, and also the metaphorical door of entry) and if you leave the front door open and get burgled what do you expect?

    were you talking about bin ladens heinous crimes or the US governments? - flame that :)
