    You are creating duality where none exists, the "gases and other things" are not different than the Tao. I'm not Taoist but I think studying its non-dualist views is good for trying to understand what the ultimate nature of reality might be. I certainly think it's an infinitely better paradigm than the Abrahamic systems.

    I get conniptions when I see people intimate that there are two and only two possible theories to existence and the nature of reality: Big Bang or Creator God. Why not the Tao?

    There was a time when I would have considered a Seagate drive but when they bought Maxtor, I swore never again. I don't think I would buy one even for someone else's computer.

    It's even worse than that! I'm willing to be they play around with search results, for example if I search for certain products sometimes the brand is not available as a filter even though I see there is such a product RIGHT THERE on the page.

    I deleted Windows from my computer altogether this year after dual-booting to play game in Windows since... a long time ago. Although I don't get all the games I want to play in Linux (Fallout 4, The Witcher 3, Battlefield), there are enough games that I do want to play.

    It is my experience that many if not most corporations (IBM used to be the exception) stop innovating once they get a certain size and the only way they do anything new is by buying smaller companies.

    Certainly the year I deleted Windows and stopped dual-booting just to game!

  18. Yep. I can't believe I had to resort to a third-party utility to just search for a file! WTFF

    I think a related MS-Evil feature is that deleting Cookies, Temporary Internet Files from Internet Options still leaves hundreds of cookies and files. I don't get it. Why? I have to log on with a separate account on that machine to delete the folders.

  21. I, too, was a Windows user since 3.11 WFW but mostly for games since I discovered and used OS/2 for my non-gaming computing (and later Linux). I liked Windows XP because my Gravis Exterminator force feedback worked but I upgraded to Windows 7 because Battlefield 3 and DX9. But now I am Windows-free! I talked about ditching Windows since way back in the day but this time is different and I said, "No thanks." Yeah!!!!!!

    Have had it since WFW 3.11 in '95 and survived the many flavors of Winders so I could play games although I dual-booted with OS/2 then Linux. Steam has enough games to keep me busy for a long time. Bye bye M$!
