    If the center that is orbited is inside the mass of the 'mother' planet then it's a moon/satellite.

    The center of mass in the Pluto-Charon system lies outside of either body. It's not a moon. They are a double (dwarf) planetary system.

  7. I'm starting to think I'm getting old and am the only person who doesn't give a shit about the Occulus Rift or any other VR setups, at least not yet. Seriously, I've always been a graphics junkie, since the days when CGA was the standard for color, and I really am quite happy right now with 1080p on a flat screen.

    Nope. Getting a college degree, you actually learn something.

    Having been a hiring manager for many years in a past life I can tell you right now that your statement is pretty much BS. I've seen many college grads who didn't have any demonstrable knowledge at all. I've seen some that did of course, but getting a degree is no guarantee that a candidate really learned anything, or at least anything remotely useful.

    This is very true. I get contacted by recruiters almost non-stop, and the last two jobs I interviewed for I got offers. I don't interview a lot because truth be told I really like where I am, but sometimes it is worth exploring other opportunities.

    I do not suspect so. People are used to getting Windows bundled with their computers. If those people suddenly have to start paying for Windows, they would get annoyed and start digging deeper for free alternatives. Eventually they would find Ubuntu and that would begin to hurt Microsoft's business.

    Doubtful. The average Joe isn't going to install Linux unless someone turns them on to it. They would be far, far more likely to buy a Mac instead if they get that sick of Windows.

    FreeDOS is still under active development and has many features and enhancements beyond the original DOS. It'd be easier for you to browse the site rather than list them all here, as there are quite a few of them.

    In some enterprise shops it is just SOP to reboot, usually a policy written by some change management managerial type who doesn't know when a reboot is actually required.
