    I can't get it to install on my android TV.
    I installed the amazon app store, but when I try to install the prime video app, it tells me my machine is incompatible. Very annoying, as prime video was one of the reasons I bought the machine in the first place.

    A quick check with my calculator shows that the 11000 number assumes 60W incandescent bulbs.

    Which is all well and good, but do people still use incandescent light bulbs?

    Nope. I just recently replaced the last incandescent bulb in my house to LED. If a cheap bastard, like me has switched then everyone must have switched. :)

    wouldnt matter what your password is if the database holding it, is saved in plaintext or easily decryptable.

    That would be why you never, ever reuse a password.

    Great...until you're at work and can't install the code, even the portable. So how are you going to check your car appointment with passwords you can't possibly remember, being 32 characters as random as possible?

    I can always install the software.

    For the past couple of years I have noticed that many pieces of software and websites are "improved" to the point where they become unusable.
    Here is a useful hint. If you have an established popular product, web or software, and someone comes along suggesting a "refresh because it is getting stale" Fire them. have them escorted from premises as soon as possible. (With a few swift kicks if possible.) These people serve no useful purpose, and waste valuable oxygen. A refreshed, modern interface will NOT bring new users to your product, but the features that you thought were unimportant, and removed will drive some of your current users away.

    Looking at you Slashdot.

    Same here. A few years back I bought my dream house, and had not yet sold my old place. I knew money was going to be really tight until the old place sold. So I cancelled my cable. It was a little tough for the first two weeks or so, but after that I found that I had other things to do.
    Three months later when my old place finally sold, I never even considered getting cable TV again.
    Now at four years with out cable, and not missing it.

    There's a small difference between being a good boy for fetching a ball, or being a good boy and getting a million dollar paycheck.

    There really isn't. It is all just a matter of motivation. Different things motivate you from what motivates my dog, that is all.

    Honestly people shouldn't be allowed to get a dog unless they pass an empathy test but that would infringe on people's FREEDUMBS so we can't do that and millions of dogs suffer needlessly before they finally get taken to the vet to be killed for being inconvenient.

    There is no way I would have passed an empathy test before I got my dog, but he has taught me. I am a much better person now, thanks to him.
    Rocky is an ex-racing greyhound, I highly recommend them to anyone thinking about getting a dog. They are smarter than they are given credit for, and the most loving creatures in the world. (Also VERY low energy.)

    I for one hate, Hate, HATE full screen applications! I currently have 7 programs running with 8 windows, on 2 screens and I can see at least part of all of them. This makes switching between application windows quick and easy, without having to run the mouse down to the task bar every time I need a different window.

    More change for the sake of change I think.
    Good thing I gave up on Windows years ago, so I don't have to deal with this stupidity.

    You have a point.
    However based on what he did, and how poorly he did it, I seriously doubt he would be the "anal retentive trainer" you described.
