Well considering how well the switch has taken off and how many 3rd party developers are jumping on board the switch can be considered amazing. It's essentially a portable home console which can be easily projected into a bigger screen which is something that can't be claimed by anyone else. This is extremely tempting for anyone who sells games since the switch basically has created its own, separate market which is unique to only the switch which means that people are willing to repurchase games on it that they already own. So yes the games are amazing but so is the switch.

But honestly. I actually don't mind this model too much. Although I do believe that such apps and sites should try to be smart about it and attempt to back off if a borrowed CPU is being overloaded. While JavaScript doesn't have any easy ways to check CPU usage at the very least they could include a checkbox allowing for it to be disabled if users notice their computer slowing.

  4. That's not evolution on Bird Feeders Might Be Changing Bird Beaks (axios.com) · · Score: 1

Evolution generally describes the changing of genes and DANA in animals which leads to changes in them. The changes are then weeded through by natural selection for the best. This article describes a process where birds already have the ability to grow longer beaks meaning that this isn't evolution it's natural selection.

The only way that'll happen is if EA loses the right to make starwars games and someone else starts making them.

  8. The problem is that when EA uses the word, it means that whatever they're refering to becomes the next COD clone or a racing game.

  9. So in other words... on EA Shuts Down Visceral Games, Shifting Development On Its Star Wars Game (kotaku.com) · · Score: 1

EA is being EA and snubbing a studio for not doing well at making games outside its expertise, after being bled dry. (Again) Also now the promising new starwars game that has been in development is now 'Call of Duty Starwars Edition'. Seems par for course for EA.

Or so that say. Honestly I'd rather have features added to my phone after the technology has matured then while they're only half-baked. For example let's talk about megapixels. Anyone who knows anything about photography that a 32 megapixel camera is pointless unless you're going to be taking giant poster sized images. Even then you end up with significantly muddied colors compared to a similarly featured 16 megapixel camera. So again. I want good features not all features.
