You misread the original post. He is musing that the actual transaction fee is something bigger, and SF gets 5% of that.
The quoted text says quite clearly "F.NET is taking a 5% piece of the transaction fee" In order for it to be a piece, the whole fee must be bigger. Somewhat unclear to be sure, but there it is.
cost of film means you have more incentive to learn from every shot instead of filling 512MB cards and picking the one good shot.
The cost of film also means you are more inclined to NOT experiment or do anything where you might 'waste' a shot (unless you have tons of money to throw around on film)
I pack 2x 256mb CF cards with my digital cam. I can always afford to try something even if it might not come out right.
When a camera costs $0.05, takes a megapixel frame, 30x per second, and a week of media costs only $0.05, why wouldn't you record just about everything around you?
Just because you CAN doesnt mean you SHOULD. And (*cough*blog*cough*) it sure doesnt mean anyone CARES.
Search for Hilary Clinton's Living History and Ann Coulter's Treason, for instance. Chances are you'll only find the former.
Disclaimer: IWABS (I work at a book store) Could it be that demand for Hilary's book was higher? My employer sold mountains of it compared to anythign Coulter has ever written.
Of course! Why hold a government library to the unrealistic standards of being financially responsible when we can just force the taxpayers to cough up some more money to cover their inefficiencies?
Who says libraries aren't financially responsible? I'd guess the major reason they lack funding is (speaking from local experience) there's some moron sitting on the town council who doesnt think people need to read, and would CLOSE the damn thing altogethr if he could get away with it, and build another baseball park
I agree. Based on my observations from highschool and middle school this holds. Guys talk shit to each others faces and fight, and get it over with, or do nothing. Girls spread rumors and perform brutal character assassination and don't freakin' let it go! I can't count the times I've had the question of "why do you hate $fem_name so much" answered by "Well year before last she.."
This sort of slander poses a serious problem, though if it's off school campus i'd be more inclined to call the police than the principal. Don't give me that shit about 'telling an adult' either--adults can't watch kids all the time, and when their back is turned you get yours.
you actually model the thing, create the polygons, upload and tweak the textures, and script its actions.. you don't find the sword after killing a rabbit or roll you 'swordmaking' skill for the 'crafting' aspect of the game. You spend real time and effort to make it.
By doing this they have also made it quite difficult or impossible for a vast amount of people to also create things.
I can't remembber ever getting 'spim' on AIM or Yahoo. ICQ is by far the greatest offender, for years Mirbalis (and then AOL) had NO means whatsoever of ever reporting system abuse like mass messaging

Funny, that's what I hated about outlook, it tossed all my POP3 email into the same place

ather than going halfway through the game and running out of shots for my favorite gun.
Now you run out of ammo for ALL your guns at the SAME time. That is NOT an improvement.
That's an issue with your system, not adobe's file format
Windows Security GM Talks NGSCB (Palladium)
Was I the only one who initially read GM as Game Master?

Your discman will be stolen just as easy as an ipod.
And my 70$ discman will be replaced MUCH much more easily than your 400$ iPod
If you were the type to sweep for bugs i rather doubt you'd leave that onstar system intact anyhow

...and they each sent 50 USD to the Mozilla Foundation (not a lot of money for someone in the Western world; just 25 cups of Starbucks coffee)
Or a week of groceries for a college student. Or two-three tanks for gas for a commuting worker. Or a phone bill. Or...
You get the idea. It's not alot of money, but it's not an amount alot of those 1 mil people probably have to kick around.
Something I've wondered is--when the computer goes first, how does it decide to open? Is it random based on its analysis of the opponent or what?
You could probably sue your university under privacy laws if they send your grades to your 'rents.
Since the super computer obviously isn't a food item how would McDonalds be able to sue?
And why exactly is porn okay while gun related websites aren't?
These are the exact same arguments I heard growing up when beating your kids became child abus
What about the part where beating your kids is illegal? minior detail you missed there bub
