It will be a very gray world if everything that offends somebody is removed -- regardless of how many other people enjoy it.

I think this is a great statement. So many people and things in the spotlight of our media, ESPECIALLY politicians, are afraid of offending someone that they say things completely bland and turn themselves grey. I enjoy video games because it's something exciting, imaginative, and immersing... And, I can step away from it anytime I want.

    Mod parent up more!

I doubt that average Joe is going to even read all that crap, let alone do as he is told in the EULA. Can they really expect that people could be held liable if noone pays attention to it?

What the hell are people doing to their playstations? My original, first day released playstation 1 still works! My PS2 has never had a problem either. What, do you dunk it in mud or something? How does something like that break? I just don't get it.

Also, to add to this discussion, I don't think I'm going to buy either of the new consoles because it's too damn expensive! Unless the Revolution is cheap as borsht, I'm probably going to wait a while for the price drops. (just like with the PSP =P I'm still waiting....) I'd rather spend my money on something else geeky. =P
