My Hope is that they eliminate javascript from all web-browsers, not just the ability to remove javascript... ELIMINATE IT. I have no need for it and I don't go to any webpages that are reliant on it. The last thing I need is some sleezy company (like maybe microsoft or something) popping up an annoying advertisement on my desktop.

Hello master.

When the first batch of the robots is released next year they'll likely cost between $1,500 and $3,100, Xie said.
For a robot that can walk and maintain his balance, as well as all of the other things mentioned in the article (all wireless too!) I don't think it's a steep price at all!! Any computer geek knows that a good computer costs them 3,500 (CDN) just to play games at a good speed! I think having a robot around at that price is paltry in comparison to what you can do with it!!!
In patrol mode, the bipedal robot acts as a home security system, scoping out your house for intruders. If the robot's thermal sensors detect a human in the house, the robot can e-mail to the owner or call them on their cell phone.
I wonder how it would work against a semi-perfect mirror? I've always wondered how a laser or something that would rely on waves would work against a reflective surface.. Can anyone give me a clue?
I have already been nailed by this spam and believe me it was very frustrating not being able to find the sender! Can any of you guys tell me how I could find the IP of the sender? Although, I don't know what I would do with it...
Well, I know there was an Amiga DOS, and in the book they are talking about the drawer browser system thing =) From what I remember of my brother's system, he used drawers and such in his OS along with the CLI. So I'm guessing that the AmigaDOS was the whole OS.. not just an underlying thing like MSDOS.. =) The book for ver. 1.3 was released in 1988... Pretty old stuff by my age =)
The U.S. Supreme Court considered on Wednesday whether Robert Frost poems and Mickey Mouse movies made more than 75 years ago should become public property or remain in the hands of their owners for another 20 years.

``Why should we be blamed for pursuing knowledge?'' a student protester said on television.
Mickey Mouse is knowledge? Let me guess, he teaches people how to wildly swerve a steamboat and whistle....?
Unfortunately, the Dinosaur has been fossilized, which means that the skin and other parts has indeed been transformed into minerals and other rock(?).. I am assuming, (After reading the article) that the pigment of the skin has been lost (You can see a picture of it in the article). My thoughts are that the dinosaurs have a skin tone much the same as common lizards and birds of today. Like light greens, dark purples, etc.. etc..
Our flight has been delayed, due to a bunch of bums from downtown sucking out the engine fuel. Relax, and our flight attendants will give you some pretzels.
... be enough to bring this masterpiece to life?
Seriously, I do not consider akira to be a masterpiece. It's a good anime, yes, but NOT a masterpiece. This was the first anime I saw and I was very UNimpressed. I was wondering what the big deal was, and I didn't watch another for about 5 years or so just because of Akira. I realise later on, after having fully immersed myself into the genre, that maybe it is a good movie.. But do NOT recommmend this movie for a newbie! There are many more with better plot and action. (Metropolis was good =)
Shatner is Canadian.. I don't know if he is an american citizen now or not, but he was born a Canadian.
Scientists have discovered that its strength has dropped precipitously over the past two centuries and could disappear over the next 1,000 years.
In other news, the sun may implode on itself and create a red giant over the next 25 million years (estimates may vary)...
Why doesn't slashdot just create a permanent link on their site for NYT online?
Seriously though, does anyone have any ideas on how we can take control of web standards away from MS ?
I remember a slashdot link somewhere mentioning something about IE getting eliminated due to some sort of plugin junk?

I wish I knew enough about Poe to write some witty joke about the sounds a modem makes and his story "The Telltale Heart" Alas.. no.

Anyone have success OC'ing this baby?
Heck yeah! I got mine up to 20 millilitres/second!

If you don't want to be stuck inside reading "just that next episode" I wouldn't recommend HnG. It's more addictive than Everquest and Astroboy!
But would some of The laser be reflected back? Does the mirror provide any amount of protection?
If you put it that way, then it's nature vs. nature, as the men who make deep fritz are just the same as Kasparov and Kramnik.
Even still, it should be man vs. man. =)
That's what happens when you browse porn on the main computer of your company =) (same thing happened to me)
I wonder how it would work against a semi-perfect mirror? I've always wondered how a laser or something that would rely on waves would work against a reflective surface.. Can anyone give me a clue?
Sdo now my fgat finfgers.. Will ptress even more ketys tjhan they needf to.
