I have the exact same problem with my school Unix account too. I never even use the account and get more spam on it then any of the acocunts I actually use.
I have already tried googling for my domain on the web and nothing shows up. I'm interested, like you, to find out how this is happening. I hadn't thought of finger before, that's a good point.
We are all going to die, I promise you that. Spending an extra 2 months out of the year working to fund federal disaster programs affects me directly, and I am not ashamed to say that I care about that. Counting costs and counting lives are equally important, and intimately connected.
Yes, but maybe our children are going to die a lot younger than we do, because of our actions. I'm not ashamed to say I care about that.
Hehehe. I was chomping at the bit as soon as I saw "In class you'll be bored- school is geared for average people and your not average. So, do the work really fast, then do other stuff thats fun." Imagine my dreams when I read the intelligence bit.
Wow, that's a clever scheme. Sounds like a potential spam campaign, except n = 25 or so.

So hard work does nothing, eh? It's all luck and circumstance.
Where did he say that? He actually said "Luck, circumstance, and opportunity play huge roles in where you are." Huge roles being the keywords. As someone else who replied to you said, how about being hit by a hijacked airplane while sitting in your office? Or being born as a woman or slave in Sudan? Keep working hard, maybe you won't get beaten as badly.
NO, MS just hired a BUNCH of DEC engineers. As someone else mentioned, that included Dave Cutler, who held the whole thing together. I'd recommend the book Showstopper! to learn about the creation of NT. Facinating stuff.
Answer:
We really shouldn't worry about things like this until we have to.
By the time we have to worry about it, we are all already dead. Not just those of us with cancer or AIDS.
That's like saying you shouldn't worry about a computer virus until you get one. You shouldn't worry about security until your server is rooted. You shouldn't worry about your car until the engine seizes up.
Indeed it is. I just upgraded my Dad's G4 Cube to OS X for the first time. (Teacher - got a free copy). He uses Outlook at work and was having to use Outlook through Classic which is slow and inefficient. This is the killer app that was keeping him (and other educators) on OS 9.

I think they probably mean black box as in having layers of abstraction/encapsulation in your code. It's a good programming strategy, makes things much more maintainable and reusable. It's the basis of all object-orieted design.
Obviously you still have to take the entire system into account. Hopefully no one is arguing here that a 100 page while(1) loop is the best way to program. We might need to meet at the bike racks if you do.
About 11 inches wide, 85/8 inches deep and less than a quarter-inch thick...
Wow, that's a pretty thin laptop!

The bank transfers $100 from YOUR account to their account from which it can be used by the bank to loan to other customers and earn interest (mortgage loans, auto loans, credit card loans, etc). So if it takes 2 months for you to use up the $100, you've "given" your capital to the bank to use for two months.
Huh? Do you think that currently when you have x dollars in YOUR bank account, the bank does not touch that money and keeps it safely secured for you? Or do they loan it out to other customers and earn interest? Of course the latter - that's how banks work!

I would tell your 12-year old self to quickly learn the amazing control you can exert over geeks by providing them with p0rn.
It's simple actually. Invest on sunny days!

Maybe someone should email CmdrTaco and tell him this idea? It's clear he is incapable of the PLAINLY OBVIOUS.
Did anyone else find that pretty amusing?

Just like spam: lazy and stupid people.
No entry found for geniouses.
I think it's going to go even faster in reverse. You might get the Analytical Engine or maybe even the abacus!
Can I turn off HTML email in Outlook? Sorry for the stupid question that Google would probably answer for me.
I'd like to have a look at her source code!
