Don't laugh at the 'unbelievable' too hard. It might be next year's Science Today.

You'll excuse me if I take that risk and go ahead and laugh now. Actually, maybe I'll cry instead...

Don't you think that if one single aspect of psychic phenomena was real, we would have seen evidence of it by now?

People have been talking about this for years, and if any of it were true it would radically change the way we view the world. In effect it would turn everything we know about the universe upside down. But guess what? It hasn't. Life continues on. Crimes aren't solved by psychics (regardless of what TV may have us believe). No psychic has won the lottery or been kicked out of casinos. Missing persons have not been located by remote viewing. Sure some spoons get bent, but hey I can do that too (no telekenetic powers required I assure you).

If you want to know how paranormal events have failed scientific investigations, do yourself a favor and check out the James Randi Foundation

I don't know of any way to order single issues online. Perhaps you could find someone to buy issues off a newstand and ship them.

Or maybe you can find someone to burn a CD for you. I know it's not the same as having a nicely labeled official copy (although the real label is pretty bland), but hey, this is one of the few times that we can suggest that a CD be opening copied and shared (viva Creative Commons)!

By the way, the CD ain't bad. I'm listening to it now. Some good songs on it (and some that aren't my cup of tea)...

Well, if you set up a RAM disk and only store personal settings on the USB key -- then I suspect that it would last for quite some time. If you don't care about saving settings, then you can boot off the key as a read-only media and never write back to it. So I don't think this would be a major concern.

Amen brother. I would not buy a standalone DVD recorder that does not support firewire input (or i-Link as Sony insists on calling it).

So other than double-layer support, what makes this so ground-breaking over this one that they all ready produced (and has firewire)?

I get the impression that the MPAA is highly opposed to firewire on recording devices. I see fewer and fewer devices with this feature. Heck, I'd be willing to settle for input only as a compromise.

Why wait until the end of the day? I seem to recall roaming photographers at Walt Disney World a couple of years back. They shot on flash media and had to run it to a central station every so often. This type of camera would eliminate the need for that and customers could pick up their pics almost immediately.

OK, this may not be difficult for those of us with years of computer experience (except for the font size of the information -- damn these aging eyes). But imagine the neophyte user trying to figure all this out. I can certainly understand the desire to boil it all down to a single number -- you MUST have a level X computer to run this game!

Unfortunately, such a system is probably impractical and of limited usefulness for all the reasons cited in the other posts.
