    Academics achieved higher exfiltration speeds --of up to 60 bits/hour-- with a variation of NetSpectre that targeted data processed via a CPU's AVX2 module, specific to Intel CPUs.

    Unless they mean the attack is specific to Intel CPUs with AVX2, but it sure sounds like AVX2 is only an Intel thing?

    Depends on the game, the difference between FO4 on an SSD and an HDD is noticeable. Most of the doors in that game = loading new area.

    The NTSB report found that Uber's software "determined that an emergency braking maneuver was needed" 1.3 seconds before the crash. Unfortunately, the vehicle wasn't programmed to actually perform emergency braking procedures---nor was it programmed to alert the safety driver.

    You disagree with my opinion that it was negligent homicide, or did you mean to reply to someone else?

    If they did, then they should have what they care for. They can host it on a website they control. Facebook certainly isn't public.

    At the drive thru, cashiers prefill the drinks while the food is being prepared allowing for the final transaction to simply be passing of the food and drink through the window.

    It's been a few years since I've used a drive-though, but what's wrong with an order window and a food window?

    On the privacy side, Amazon said hotels will not have access to voice recordings of Alexa interactions or responses, and recordings of Alexa commands are remotely wiped when the guest checks out of the hotel.

    I assume Amazon will keep all records, for quality control purposes...
