Well, competition inspires innovation. I don't think Microsoft is a company to easily give up. Not sure if future versions of IE will be cocoa based, but I'm sure they will be working their butts off to have something to compete against Safari.
I guess it depends on your tastes I enjoyed the early episodes. Although there was a lot of slapstick style humor, I did like the fighting scenes. Also, you can't overlook when Wolfwood shows up.
I do agree, though, that the second half of the series is when the story line picks up a bit.
If you're looking to catch some anime on Cartoon Network, I suggest watching, in addition to Trigun, Ruroni Kenshin and Cowboy Bebop. Although dubbed, the voices are not that horrible though I still prefer the subtitled versions.
Uhm, 15*32,000=32,000 if you're saying there is only one song on each CD (even singles have more than that). He already stated that it's assuming an average of 15 songs a CD.
Unfortunately, some "uncut" anime series cannot be aired on CN due to the nudity they contain. Hey, I won't complain, but I'm sure some parents out there will have an outrage.
...When you already HAVE broadband you don't care too much about the speed....
Unfortunately, I have broadband and I do care about the speed I get. Only because I'm downloading at 6.5k/sec. I hate it when ISPs say speeds up to 768k so they're still okay when you're downloading slower than a 56k modem.
Unfortunately the pinstripe theme currently only works on OS X. I would also love to use this them on my Windows and Linux box. Anything out there that's similar?
Wayne's World was successfully (from some point of views) ported to the silver screen. Who's to say that the same can't be done for the Simpsons?
Okay okay, Wayne's World 2 sucked. But still....
That's an interesting idea. Unfortunately, my room doesn't have the space because (going by the _flawless_ logic of the poster above) I weigh 300 pounds.
I myself would like to see a Mac version. However, ATI may still be a little salty after they were replaced as the default video card by nVidia back after that MacWorld fiasco where they "leaked" info on new Macs before Steve Jobs' keynote.
This is a cool gadget to have on the computer with the instant replay/time shifting Tivo-like capabilities and it's there on my list of "toys" to have. However, I don't think sitting at a desk in front of a computer with a TV tuner card and a monitor will be able to replace the comfort and convenience of plopping down on the couch to watch TV.
Now we just have to hope fiber to the home is successful enough to become wide spread. Geek dream? It's 7Mbps down and 4.5Mbps up....don't know that considered fast enough to make it a dream but...
Well, my job isn't fun (tech support), but everyone in my department is pretty close (it's only 5 guys) and we do have some fun after work. After hours we participate in some networked computer games and some nerf wars. Our manager is fine with it as long as our work does not fall behind and he even participates sometimes.
I think if we didn't have this to blow off some steam after talking to all those customers, we'd all go insane.
I don't know about Back to the Future, but definitely Indiana Jones. Is there some sort of restriction preventing these films from being distributed on DVD?

Hopefully I'll be able to play Word Whomp from Pogo games (http://www.pogo.com) at a decent speed now.

eAthlon.64?
Dan Quayle says it's Athlone 64
So how many of them are running porn sites?

Too bad IDG is not moving it to Hawaii. Now I would love to see MacWorld Honolulu!
How about adding 1,000 watt amps and 15" subwoofers to wake the neighborhood up at 2am?

300 pounds? I guess you don't realize how many calories you burn pressing the buttons on the clicker.

The next thing we'll see are precogs preventing violent crimes.
Higher resolutions won't compensate for the lack of control you have with the game pads.
That's good to know. Now I only need to purchase Jaguar so I can use iCal.
Actually, wouldn't it be
http://toys.r.us ?
I would make it a backwards 'R,' but my keyboard got stuck.

Hmmmmmm, going this route sounds like this could end up being the "mark"
