How about instead of a typical minimum wage, there is a law that requires some kind of profit , ( and risk ) sharing with employees.

You don't think employees are shouldering any risk in our current system?
You realize every employee is basically giving the company a loan every day. The company pays it back afew weeks later.

Our current tax and company structures take no account of the value labor imparts, they only value capital.

I had to decline an offer from Columbia University because my ITT tech (yeah.. srsly) transcripts were lost after their bankruptcy.
They eventually turned up and I have a copy now. Although, I think I've removed them from my resume because they add nothing after almost 20 years of experience.

They offered me a contingent start, but took so long to get there I had to pass. It was almost 3 months after their original offer.

I've recommended others for jobs, but every job I've worked has been found via a job listing or a recruiter. I'm admittedly, not a great net-worker, but I'm friendly and professional.
I worked my way from Helpdesk to Senior System Admin and I've changed jobs on average every 3 years, some 5 years, some 2 years, one 8 months.

At the higher end of tech employment (in the midwest), finding opportunities is the hardest part.

use the system rescue cd to resize your disk (gparted), and leave empty space at the end. Format that end space with a linux filesystem (xfs). Windows can't see it, but you can store a compressed image of your system using dd, partimage, or fsarchiver.

  18. If that's the case you should have a spare HD with a cloned image, or take regular images with an appropriate tool. I used to use a pxe boot server and image systems to samba share. A real easy way is to use this guyWhen you boot back to windows, that space is invisible and unaccessible to malware. You can always boot back to linux and restore your system.

  19. If you ensure you completely wipe the drive, by "nuking" it or formatting with different filesystems, for example xfs before reinstalling windows, it's pretty safe.
