It would be good to know the current when you are engineering this thng so that your wires are large enough... large current needs large wires to carry it.
The last thing you want to do in an emergency room is slow the breathing down and body temperature of a patient. Often they are in shock and I imagine putting them in hibernation could have some bad effects. Sedation and pain relief are worthwhile, but we have drugs for that...
Not that I am a medial doctor or anything but emergency room use just seems flawed. Hibernation really seems applicable to long term space travel (Mars anyone?). Cause hey, if the astronaut dosen't have to eat, weight can be saved.
It's called hand-off dumbass. Automatically using the cell phone network and wifi with minimal interuption. And if you were to drive around toronto with netstumbler I bet you'd find a ton of wireless access points in neighborhoods... Not that you'd be able to use them when driving around...
Add.zip to that. There are too many viruses out there now that are using.zip, and when they are password protected you have to have a good signature. So I just block them. I have too many dumb users to let it come through.
hehe at work I had two freebsd machines and I enabled the freebsd daemon screensaver. You know, that one that has the daemon logo that moves around on the screen. I would "accidently" leave the freebsd machine active on the kvm switch. Eventually thye got replaced by some sun boxes.:(
Does this also mean that the remote control door locks can be cracked as well? I wonder if this uses the same chip and system. It would be funny to drive through a parking lot while transmitting the "panic alarm" codes. That would make quite a racket!
Um yeah, I think we the consumers have learned our lesson. Screw your patented BS, screw your jacked up licensing fees. Give me open standards that multiple manufacturers can follow, thereby giving me better prices.
This was on a tv show, Worlds Worst Police Crashes or something like that. He was flattening parked cars and an RV. There was immediate threat of him killing others.
Child genius to Bart: Tell you what, Bart, I'll trade you the weight of a bowling ball on the eighth moon of Jupiter for my lunch, for the weight of a feather on the second moon of Neptune from your lunch.
Another child genius to Bart: I'll trade you 1000 picoliters of my milk for 4 gills of yours.
Anyone remember that bbs game called fazuul? It was multiplayer and it had items that you could put together to make other items. These items sometimes were useful. Quite fun! Is there anything else out there that has both of those features or is Fazuul available on some internet connected bbs?
My prius has a user feedback loop. It has a display with instant miles per gallon and miles per gallon over time, as well as an average miles per gallon. With that feedback loop I modify my driving habits and get great miles per gallon - pretty close to the rated MPG. 49 mpg over 330 miles is pretty damn good and I get these values consistently now. I reset the average counter when I get gas.
You've got a good point there. I'm talking about things that don't cause a sysadmin to worry too much. Things like nmap, simple network circumvention, etc. Also tests for software vulnerabilities should be done on test boxes that you own. It's not okay to DDOS someone just because you don't like what is on their site.

This just in, IBM says fuck you to Microsoft yet again!
Oh those brownian filters! What, do they filter based on how motive the email's atoms are? This thread has so many incorrect and brainless comments!
DONALD: Ok, history. This is for the game. How ya doin' over there? Not too good!
GEORGE: All right BB. Let's just play... Who invaded Spain in the 8th century?
DONALD: That's a joke. The moors.
GEORGE: Oh, Noooo, I'm so sorry. It's the MOOPS. The correct answer is, The MOOPS.
DONALD: Moops? Let me see that. That's not Moops you jerk, it's Moors. It's a misprint.
GEORGE: I'm sorry the card says MOOPS.
DONALD: It doesn't matter. It's the MOORS. There's no MOOPS.
GEORGE: It's MOOPS.
DONALD: MOORS.
GEORGE: MOOPS,
DONALD: MOORS!
heh so this would be like the iSuck, or the i69? ;)
2500 fps!?! That's Unreal®!

Spoiled american kids with too many video games... brain rot.
hmmm I think it was no-click fisting. No wait, that's what our newly convicted spammer friends will be getting in prison...
hmm that's when they started including some real features. Like tcp/ip... 7.6.1 is what I would shoot for on alot of old mac hardware.
never mind, google for fazuul and the first link has it :)
