    No technical reason it cant print actual pipes in the walls. We have home units now printing stuff from PVC. Could make wall coverings in plastic, even 'frames' for cabinets..

    Change the plastics to epoxy and you could even deposit a sink or a tub or a counter top.

    Should be outlawed. They are NOT new.

    I got burnt like that once, Bought what looked like a factory sealed video card. Got home and found it to be a used card of a different model ( much older, junk. ) in the box.

    I had paid cash, so i had to threaten to sue them for fraud to get them to refund my money. Afterward, and off the record, they admitted to not checking returns at all and having a machine to reseal them.

    Now, i never pay cash for stuff like this, or i open the box before i leave the store.

    I agree, but they will have to get a PC or special hardware. If they are using regular 'home routers' they are out of luck.

    Not all hotels charge. They just force you to agree to a EULA so they don't get into legal hassles.

    But id like it for a different reason. I just want a simple pane of glass that displays video. I don't want or need all the extra stuff.

    Doing this just makes them more expensive, more prone to break and repair even worse. Oh, and more controllable by other parties upstream

    Like having an integrated DVD player break on a 2000 TV and you are hosed with a huge bill.. when all you really needed was a 25 dollar one attached to the back of it.

    its just 'big words from people that don't understand what the hell they are taking about'. You can tell its an election year. Feed the people whatever crap you need to in order to get (re)elected. They have no intention of 'protecting' anything, other than their power and revenue.

    These xrays are much more powerful (intensity and energy) than medical xrays.

    Which is the problem ( well, the health problem.. the fact we are doing it at all is another issue ) I guess this ensures that i will never be traveling abroad. While I'm already middle aged, i don't want to push my luck and shorten my lifespan, or destroy my quality of life as i get older..

    In my case, never had a video problem. It was always wifi. Once they started to support broadcomm using windows drivers it was better, but still a pita to setup and use out in the field.
