I have been a real happy user with Rhapsody. Can anyone tell me if it's worth switching to Yahoo?

The reason why I dropped Napster was because of the insane percentage of "Buy-ONLY" songs. Why pay a subscription if you have to pay again to listen to half an album. I am really wondering if Yahoo doesn't have this problem. So far Rhapsody is clean.

The best random error ever to come out of Mortal Kombat was when the memory errored out. Happened on the arcade versions.

  6. Who to believe on Sony Beefs up FAT for Consumer Devices · · Score: 2, Interesting

You can believe Sony marketing that vFAT is truely more enhanced for electronic devices.

You can believe Sony doesn't want to pay M$ for using FAT. Therefore finding a need to innovate alittle.

You can believe Sony will probably not go very far with yet "another" standard it created.

    The choice is yours...

There is this weird assumption that people will flock to game development!? Why? Look at Half-life expansion packs, there are only a small handful even after all these years as the premiere title for making your own addons. Everyone tries, few find success.

  9. Re:how do they make money? on Redhat Spins Off Fedora Project · · Score: 1

You must work for Redhat to think that way. The supposedly "better" enterprise version is totally inaccessible to the general audience unless you had a Redhat network account. The less stable version Fedora is freely available.

Now you tell me.... why should the average user run Redhat Fedora if it's not the best version the company has to offer?

Last good version of Redhat is Redhat 9. Good enough for corporations to run production, free enough for everyone.

  10. Re:Good to see Nintendo's strategy working on Nintendogs Pummels Sony Products · · Score: 1

Yes Nintendo is software 1st, hardware 2nd. But their games are also Japan first, everybody else 2nd.

How about a focus group research to see what people outside Japan really want to play. More than half their games are so anime-ish with a stronger appeal for kids than adult.
