I don't know if this is a sarcastic comment or not. You do realize iPods have the worst battery problem of any device out there right? $99 replacement and many users complain it permanently dies in 1 year.
But according to most people here, it is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE for let's say a $400,000 house to tank to $250,000 even under the worst real estate market, because the appraisers won't approve it. Technically isn't it IMPOSSIBLE to have a real estate bubble burst then. Am I reading this right?
I have owned enough via chipsets in my lifetime to know they require extra care to work. All those VIA 4-in-1 drivers are a mess. The performance never got that much better either.
That's not true. PS2 has an expansion for hard disk and network adapter separately. No reason why Nintendo can't. If your $10 adapter is tied to the system and died, you have to replace the entire box. That's a waste.
That is a very good link. Though I have to admit, it was wordy in a sense that the interpretation is tricky. If you were a lawyer, you could bend it 10 ways to your favor.
Why is the parent poster marked a Troll? The people in their 20s and 30s who grew up with games are often the techies doing the hard work.
The people in their 40s-50s+ are the non-gamers who are mostly managers making unrealistic goals cause they are absolutely foreign to details. They are doing everything according to budget. This can apply to almost any software development, not just games. The young talents are at the mercy of the old group sitting at the top.
When the post come from Anonymous Coward, you know it's complete garbage.
PS2 and PS3 will continue to be strong. Unless Nintendo do something drastic, Xbox and Playstations will be the only consoles left in the next generation.
Why did people mark poster a flamebait. These keynotes are huge marketing machines. M$ can finance one every month if they wanted to. The likes of Nintendo consoles are not doing well is because they don't launch these rah-rah marketing campaigns.
If you want to sum it up.... I have actually been keeping watch on Groove network to some degree since the dot com era. Basically it was supposed to be the first "napster" with legal file sharing etc. Though Shawn Fanning beat the entire company to it.
That's what I was wondering too. If they count hours where people play FPS and those Sega Take-Two 2k5 sports games online, it would sum it up to 200 hrs.
It is my fear that they don't make the correction quick enough while the new IE is right around the corner. That might spell the end of firefox due to this political mess.
To be honest the only thing in the way of research is politics. Notice alot of these studies comes out of a democratic state like MA. Of course Bush is going to slow you down.
True. By the time you finish downloading the DVD, there is already a sequel to the movie.
Previously on slashdot some argue that broadband companies haven't moved to 10Mbps or 100Mbps because that would quadruple your downloads legal or illegal. It's a conspiracy thing, I don't know if it's for real.
I don't know which is sicker...
Bush detaining whoever he wants with his Act.
Or
The American people voting him in a second term to allow him to detain whoever he wants some more.

Well I am no real estate guru.

ROFLMAO Marvel copyright infringing claws. I got no mod points, otherwise you get a +90 creativity!

But Nintendo is far better off providing like a PCI slot and user can just plug in their own WiFi adapters.

When I think PCI tuner cards and software recorder on PC.... there is already Snapstream Media.
No, it means you can't be upfront about who you are when you make your comment.
Another words, you clearly have something to hide or fear people modding you down.

They figured 2005 is the year they need to start being alittle nicer at least to their own employees. They made an insane amount of enemies last year.
- their own hardworking employees
- people who like Take-Two Sega sports games
- people who don't like monopolies
- game reviewers
- slashdot crowd
- GT4 fans who are pissed ferraris and porshe signed with EA.

So many people are claiming to pay $400 for taxes. Are people just exaggerating? I am locked onto a $100 fixed fee with H&R block.
If you want to sum it up.... I have actually been keeping watch on Groove network to some degree since the dot com era. Basically it was supposed to be the first "napster" with legal file sharing etc. Though Shawn Fanning beat the entire company to it.
I seriously didn't catch the word "voluntary" until you pointed it out. But "honor system" did catch me eye. If it's not mandatory tax, screw it.

Intel is stupid for even proposing it. No such thing as "guarantee" in the business world.
That's what I am saying too. People are jumping the gun. After all, the game has been in development for 35 years and 700 months.

Where the hell is the anti-EA page?

No kidding, they got to make the ads less obvious. Like change the title to M$ employee and SCO employee loves iPods running linux on campus.
