  1. Please on US Judge Strikes Down Bootleg Law · · Score: 1

The judges themselves have made copies. They probably didn't sell it on the street. But the concept of copy and backup is just too much of a thin line with boot legging.

  2. Re:Affordable and under $100 on Affordable Modern Graphics Cards · · Score: 1

If you have a real serious gaming need, I don't even know if the ATI Radeon 9800 is enough by today's standard. Even games like doom III give you 20fps with a 2Ghz processor.

No offense, but games like Tux Racer, bzflag, neverball will not convince the majority of the market to spend a penny on video cards.

Damn right, as if Doom3 forums aren't already flooded with 80,000 technical problems. No wonder John M. wants to retire.

What's worse than charging $60 to a platform that's problem plagued. Charging more money on more platforms.

Only technology can stop technology. All spyware has to do is to emerge as a different form under a new name.

Once upon a time viruses were just viruses. Then viruses that did less system harm but seek security stuff was named spyware. Now spyware will evolve to a new name doing new things, and the Bill/Act is fucked.
