I went to their site for the first time yesterday to download it, only to find the nice message that they had suspended downloads of the client. Guess I'll have to find a mirror.
Hmm...seems the IOC is intent on ensuring that they don't cater to us dweebs. I'm sure they feel can make millions more from TV licensing than they ever would from web content. And they're right.

Well, certainly not software that has absolutely no nothing to do with his duties as a SysAdmin. I sure can't install CS Servers on all "my" systems here at work just because I "run" them.
I honestly don't see the point in having one of these things. All my addresses/phone numbers are on my cell phone, as well as my web browser. I don't relish the idea of carrying my remote control around. In terms of programs and funtionality - they suck. I'd rather lug around a 10 lb laptop that can run Counterstrike than play Solitaire on one of these useless pieces of silicon. If you have one: what do you people use them for? Really?
