I would like to see a study of this, although it is difficult to compare games as once a protection is in/not in and sold, you can't compare the same game with a different situation. In such a case the individual can be forced to do something he does not want to.

And you have to be presentable at work, not when you come immediately within the second after you arrive.
But even if you did not have facilities to shower, if you live in the US, there are some months where the climate will be temperate or do-able with Bike. That would go already a long way toward consumming oil for a short 10 miles commute.
You have to set up more server and network, and even then you will have a population which will peak out at a certain point, as bandwidth is not infinite as well as processing power of the machine holding the "world". Then there is the fact you need moderator and game helper, maintenance, new contents etc... Which is also limit supply.

You MUST be an american. I know of no german speaking like this. For a simple reason : they get history taught in college there. France was not "taken over" in both world war, only 1. The "great war" the trench/battle limit went back and forth north of France, but nobody took over France. For the second war, what did you expect them ? To die like a single man ? Are you for real ? You are aware that "die in honor" is an outdated previous century concept, and all modern commander would accept surrendering ? There was no cowardiness shown by france during WW2, don't get me started also on resistance and the work thereof under extremly awful condition (torture, execution, hostage killing etc...). And by perpetuating this mostly US joke, all you show is your pettiness of spirit. Jeez and I bet you will be one of the first to complain that french give you the finger.

For the same reason that the law says that if a building/firms accepts random public, cannot refuse anybody due to law, gender, handicap, or whatever discriminatory reason. The law now also says that in building where random public comes, you cannot smoke. Mind you in many countries this only applies to government building, and in some this applies to also shop/cinema/restaurants(*) and the likes where public people can comes. Smoking people endanger non-smoker with their smoking (however minimal this danger is), whereas non-smoking don't endanger smoker. Thus the law deemed the right of the non-smoker to be safe trump the right of smoker to poison themselves and the right of smoker to try to get lung and throat cancer.
(*) exception in many country : if the restaurants/bar is catering ONLY to smoker and advertise that o the front. Except some fumoire and tabacoe special shop, most other type of shop would find it suicidal to cater ONLY to smoker.

Then quick let us burn all underwear catalogs for kids. Also let us take out all advertising showing kids in underwear in big store. And also one of my niece has a white & black art picture of her naked. Let us forget it was done for an artistic competition and let us burn it as child porn, and put her sorry 15 years old ass behind bar for making child porn. Let us burn every art showing children naked or half naked , every picture (family or not) every album cover, every marketing advertising, because less than 0.1% of the population MIGHT GET AROUSAL OF IT.
And once we are finished destroying a whole pan of culture because of an extreme minority of people, let us then next switch to the other pan of culture we might want to destroy to "protect the children"...
