    Exactly. This is stupid. I guarantee you all it would take is a phone call from NASA directors and GPUs would be in transit in no time. This is just lazy and lack of communication.

    Deposits are liabilities. They only turn into revenue when you deliver whatever it was the deposit was for.

    Exactly, and that deposit is nothing more than a loan with interest attached to it when it costs them 1.5X the price to deliver the car.

    Example: Car costs 50K. Deposit is 50K. Car costs 75K to make and deliver with overhead. 50K deposit is actually a liability for 75K.

    THIS! People think cryptocurrency is a way to trade money secretly and anonymously. And it can be, but the fact remains that if you use the same wallet over and over and don't take precautions to remain secret you will be found.

    This is no different that the drug dealer who gets caught by the IRS for owning 20 Ferrari's and only reporting 10K of income. It takes work to remain anonymous and launder your money.

    That being said, many European countries are doing far better that America, and their people are generally happier. You should travel abroad and ask the locals if they think America is the greatest country in the world. You might not like what you hear. Tribalism is going to implode the USA.

    We should be pro Planet Earth. Pro Humans. Not Pro American and Anti-everyone else.

    Anyone who leaves any balance of coins or fiat currency in an online exchange is a moron.

    If you want to speculate, mine / buy your coins, store them in you OWN wallet, then move them to the exchange when you want to sell them.

    I mostly agree with this sentiment. You shouldn't store anything online until you're ready to use, but what if I moved a pile of $100K worth of coins 5 minutes before the hack? These sites should still be responsible for losses.

    He's right in the fact that this is likely a bubble. It will likely correct. I highly doubt bitcoin will ever return to zero (unless there is a nuclear war and then so will the dollar). Every market corrects, even the stock market.

    He's wrong in the fact that he thinks of bitcoin as a fiat currency. Its not and never will be. Bitcoin will be like diamonds in the regard that it will carry a constantly changing value. Bitcoin although called a crypto-"currency" should be considered a crypto-"stock".
