    Neo Said it Himself, He had a connection with the Source. So powerful was that connection, that he had control of the machines outside of the matrix. Why did he control the machines outside the matrix? Because of his powerful connection with the SOURCE. It might not make much sense logically, but this isnt everyday things we are talking about here. It makes perfect sense in the world of the matrix though.

    As for Bane, Smith Reprogrammed him. He basically messed up the brainwave pattern, and rerouted neuron connections. Sort of like brainwashing, but Matrix style. It was all explained when the doctor discribed his neural activity, and to me it made logical sense (for the movie, anyway)..

    Some people ask what happen to the people trapped inside the matrix? Well the Architect said it himself. Those that want to be free, will be free. What part of that did you guys not understand?

    Extremely proprietary = Mac

    Cost also reflects this tricotomy:
    Macs = most expensive

    Linux = Cheap

    So, as someone who isnt baby enough for a mac, or Cheap enough for linux, I choose Windows. Because I can. Thanks.

    While I can respect a free Unreal Tourney mod set in the WW2 universe, I must ask this:

    Heck the best thing about the Desert Combat mod for 1942 is that its NOT about WW2!

    If I want deep historical data, the internet isnt the place I look for it. If I want a "google" on something I'm unfamiliar with, then yeah, the internet is all I need.

    I think the real issue here should be "Why are we trying to sum up all the knowledge of a subject in one or two webpages?"

    My last report came from 2 books and a video. No, I didn't have to use non-internet sources. But yeah, I chose to get concrete, in depth stuff that I could use.

    hmmm.. to post anon or not to post anon.. oh well I dont care.

  9. Re:You like Greg huh? on Why Online Gaming Isn't As Fun As It Should Be · · Score: 1

    Im sorry but just because little of the game requires skill doesnt mean that you are skill less. Heck, if It didnt require skill, how do they choose the same winner in tournaments each year.

    The reasoning is that there are many more aspects besides skill that go into a FPS like quake/UT/Half-life.

    If you have a crappy computer, 56k connection, and a cheap 10 mouse, you Will get owned. Alot. However, some players, myself included (and excluded alot) can manage to get to the top amount of 'frags' simply because we have a deep understanding of
    1. physics rules,
    2. map layout, and
    3. Player behavior.

    and it does require luck to shoot 1 sec and find out that the railgun DOES work 2 secs later when gibbs are flying.

    It may take a % of skill, but its that % of skill that seperates the noobs (pardon my expression) from the elite.
