There is no reason you can't install both - I much prefer TortoiseSVN for most of my interaction with SVN, but it is convenient to have commit status at a glance from within Visual Studio (thanks Ankh!).
Add to that the fact that Vegas is wasted on me...I wouldn't say I'm a bad gambler but the last time I went to Vegas I even lost a buck on the soda machine.

There's a simple solution to the budget problem, sell the rights to TV and turn the whole thing into a reality program:
