  1. I like how their is a google ad on here on Circuit City Closes Its Doors For Good · · Score: 1

So below the article I see:

    Circuit City â Online

    El Oh El.

But anyway I'm reading this article and doing a /shrug, as I've never shopped there.

That's all I can say at this. I'm really surprised that with all the users they had, they are so quick to say "everything is gone and we're giving up" instead of just starting over and maybe implementing protocol that would make sure this doesn't happen again.

Why not just hire some police techs if they are having trouble or perhaps while in their magical land of make believe they can also invent a tool that will stop criminals from committing crimes before they happen - you know like in that one movie where naked chicks in water can see the brief future and you can get arrested minutes before you murder your wife or whatever.

  11. Re:Screw blackness on New Diablo 3 Images; Design Wins Over Darkness · · Score: 1

...What I don't get is the outcry over the magic effects being too cartoonish. Diablo always had magic effects in all the colors (and with the gravitas) of a well-stocked candy store and a poison attack wouldn't be a proper poison attack if it didn't have a bright green glow and preferably an inexplicable skull somewhere...

I couldn't agree more with this, in Diablo your character WTFPWNS massive amounts of mobs on a screen at a time, if they want something with a bit more realism (I use that term VERY loosely here) then they have a game for that, a little MMO I hear a few people know about...

  13. So who gets sued? on Automated News Crawling Evaporates $1.14B · · Score: 2, Insightful

I wonder who gets sued for this. Obviously Google's Crawler was at fault, somewhat, but that one error shows a flaw in a lot of other news site handling of information (or misinformation as this was), especially Bloomberg - all for lack of actually double checking sources and dare I mention, actual facts, before running a story.

In a day and age where everyone is automating news feeds, I'd like to believe that someone out there should be responsible for approving posts - much like how I do syndicated posts on my wordpress blog...of course, asking for someone to take responsibility for anything in America is asking too much anyway...

Lots of different options and choices depending on lots of variables that weren't in the post.

I'm not trying to be a dick, just wondering because cooling a room for a small business like the one I work in that houses all of 3 servers in a room a little larger than your average walk-in closet is a lot different than trying to cool a room with 100 rack mount servers lined up in rows.

A google search though brings up a lot of places like http://www.ptsdcs.com/ - might just be worthwhile to google for what you need.
