  1. All hail China! on China Says Google Pledged To Obey Censorship Demands · · Score: 1, Funny

The time has come to let go of our juvenile and silly notions of individual freedoms and embrace the blessings of a single stable, hard working party.

They overcharge for transactions. Paypal's commission should be a flat 1% on all transactions. Not 3-4% + fixed charges.
They have a horrid customer service with a "fuck you" attitude.
They do not protect the sellers of services or electronic goods (redeemable coupons, product keys, etc.)

But the engineers who work there are very competent people. I have no technical complaints so rest easy on that front.

Pro-tip: Paypal doesn't care about you and you shouldn't care about them, much less defend them.

Compare medieval kings to lower middle class people of today and we find the kings did not have the amount of entertainment to choose from, the durable clothes, the variety of food available, the health care quality, perks like temperature control of their rooms, etc.

Those medieval kings could fuck shit tons of hot, young girls and could have the best cooks making them the tastiest treats. All organic.

Seriously, who gives a fuck about temperature control or durability of clothes when you can have yummy virgins warming up your old bones and a personal tailor making you clothes every day.

Damn it feels good to be the king!

In other words, this service is mainly for the rich and thus not doing much about the very real digital divide alluded to by the title.
